those who wish to create and maintain data security by making the data ready, valuable,
and improving the scope of comprehension. Because it is the software utilised
everywhere, it is helpful in every organisation. It is simple to access from anyplace, which
increases its popularity and dependability. In compared to other apps, it is thought to be a
software that is simpler to manage. Additionally, it supports better organisational
performance and commercial expansion.

(i) DSS (Decision Support System)
DSS is a machine tool that not only gathers data but also generates the important choices a business
needs to make. It can be either manually operated by a human being, computerised, or a
combination of the two. It is employed in inventory management and sales forecasting. Utilizing
DSS makes it simple to use just-in-time techniques. As a result, workplace relationships are
improved. Different DSS kinds are driven by data, knowledge, documents, models, and
communication. Examples of the same include crop planning, which farmers use to determine the
best time to harvest their crops, and GPS route planning, which assists in determining the quickest
route.
(ii) ESS (Executive Support System)
It is a mechanism used to create summarised reports based on the information available. Top-level
managers can more easily evaluate the data and draw conclusions from it because to this. It
promptly provides the necessary information to enable seamless decision-making. A different name
for it is executive information system (EIS). This is made in a flexible manner, so the features
change depending on the particular industry. This method is used to give higher-quality services.
Cambridge systematics, a planning tool for investments, is an example of an ESS.
(iii) TPS (Transaction Processing System)
There are several transactions that occur in every business; these transactions are not rigid in nature
and also call for some change. TSS makes it possible to create, store, and obtain data. Reliability,
which indicates that data is secure and can be located again, is one of TPS's qualities. Input is
received very quickly, and output is produced. Each event has a standard that is used to preserve
