1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and
development, and the transferable skills
The personal learning is very important for an individual in order to develop
themselves with the various skills and knowledge to gain competitive advantage
within the peers. It is very important for me to develop certain kills so that I can
utilize them in my future career path. The personal learning and development is
important in order to be effective learner to reflect myself with the knowledge and
skills I am able to gain with this module.
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
it is very essential for me to develop various skills in order to be proficient in
my career. As there are different skills which I need to develop in order to be
effective and efficient in my academic studies. The personal learning and
development is related to the efforts which I need to adopt so that I can prepare
myself in achieving the regular tasks and assignments which is been assigned to
me. The academic learning helps in developing on my academic learning. It is
identified that developing various skills is very important for an individual in order to
be employable person in future. It is very significant for me to develop myself so that
I can solve various complex problems within the workplace and in professional life.
The communications skills is considered as important for me in order to be an
effective marketing manage in future.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
there are various skills which I was able to develop during this module which are
discussed below;
 Listening skills- This is considered as an important skill which I was able to
develop during my academic learning process. This was skill which I was able
to enhance in my studies. The listening skills is related to the power or ability
to listen to the instructions of the person in an effective and efficient manner.
This was important fro me to develop as I want my career in marketing
manager where the listening skills p[lays the major role. This was skill which I
am able to adopt in an effective manner where I can listen carefully to the
instructions which is given by my professors in my academic leanings.
 Information technology skills- It is the skill which I was able to develop
during this module. This is considered as the most significant strategy in order
to be different and effective. As the use of the computer knowledge is knowing
the aspect of using the different forms of excel and word which can help an
individual to make the task easier. As from this I was able to learn different
factors which I was able to develop in my personal development. Through this
skill I was able to develop confidence in developing and managing my task on
time with the use of technology.

there are various skills which I need to develop during m,y academic learning which
are discussed below:
 analytical and research skills- It is very important for me to develop
research skills in order to be effective and efficient . This is most important as
business organizations need the candidates who have such type of skills in
order to research the ways which will be beneficial for the company.
 Communication skills- This is another important skill which I need to
develop in order to communicate with my peers and managers in an effective
manner. This I need ot develop in order to perform various activities and
communicate effectively with the clients.
