Task 1:
Define personal and professional development
The term personal and professional development is defined as a force by way of
which an individual and organization get engaged in the process of learning (Pugh
and Broome, 2020). This provides due assistance in meeting the goal as well as
objectives within the stipulated course of time.
Describe and discuss short term goals values by evaluating at least
three personal illustrations
The term short term goals is said to be the stepping stones to push one closer
towards their vision as well as long term goal (Dunn and Doolittle, 2020). These are
the goals that are intended to be attained in a time span of 1 year.
Examples:-
To wake up at 5am daily to write an essay of 1500 words.
To find a supervisor to guide you in improving your art.
To read 1 page of a book on writing, daily.
Define and discuss medium term goals value by making
identification of at least three personal examples
Medium term goals serve both the purposes, of long term and short term (Earley,
2020). They are valuable as they lay the foundation to long term goals.
Examples:-
To get graduate degree from college.
To learn the art of copy-writing.
To become a trained singer.
Description and discussion of the long term goals value by defining
at least three personal examples
Long term goals is referred to as the accomplishments which take sufficient efforts,
time and planning for being attained (Mashizume and et. al., 2020). These goals
encompass the vision for future imagined by a person.
Examples:-
To gain more emotional intelligence
To start a business
To be renowned for your skill

Task Two:
Describe and discuss the manner in which “Author, Purpose,
Reliability and Relevance’ is having impact upon the use of a
source
Author, purpose, reliability and relevance affect the use of source as they tend
to decide if a source is worthy of being considered for study upon a subject matter.
When the 4 aspects are relevant and suitable, this ensures the credibility of the
source to be used. This implies derivation of positive results as a result of
considering the source for the study.
