DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS IDEA
Our business idea of "Real Juice Co." is for local residents of Okanagan Valley. Real Juice Co. Will
provide real, fresh and pure juice in the entire Okanagan area. All the production of juices will be done
in greater Okanagan region from the fruits grown here which will represent the agriculture culture of
Kelowna.
Our goal is to connect with as many people as we can from the Okanagan region. For the people to try it
and understand its value and nutrition it will provide. Our Real Juice CO. Truck will be located in
different zones on different days of the week. From Monday until Thursday, we will be located at
Campuses of Okanagan College starting from Kelowna campus on Monday, Penticton on Tuesday,
Vernon on Wednesday and salmon arm on Thursday. On Friday, we will be situated at UBCO. On
weekends, we will be at beaches, Local parks. Downtown area or the gyms.
We are choosing college campuses more for our business as our primary target will be young students
from the age of 18 to 30 years old as the youngsters are more inclined towards trying and buying new
products. In addition, because they are more health conscious understanding the nutritional values and
purity of product they are buying. Our secondary customers will be families we will get to meet on
weekends at different locations of the city who will get to enjoy our product on hot summer days of the
Okanagan.
Many factors make our company different from our competitors, which includes the purity, and
nutritional value our juices will provide will be for sure better than all our competitors will. Secondly the
simplicity and availability in buying our products. We will be available in all the suitable locations for our
customers. In addition, we will develop a mobile app "Real Juice Co" where customer can pre order the
products and all will be ready before the customer arrives. On pre, ordering online customer will also
receive free juice after every 8th purchase.
Why you have selected this idea?
We have many reasons of why we chose this business. Firstly, to support the local production of fruits in
Kelowna which will also encourage people to choose their local product over some other products.
Secondly, to give people healthy and nutritional option. "Fresh Juice Co." will provide juices with no
artificial flavor added to it. Kelowna is a city which most of the people choose to live considering the
healthy lifestyle of this town. In addition, we want to support that lifestyle. We want to invest in our
local area and community and see it growing and expanding. As young entrepreneurs, we understand
what the young and coming generation wants and we want to make them satisfied. Another reason of
choosing this business is the lack of mobile fresh juice business in Kelowna, which will give us more
space to grow. So these are the main reasons we selected this business idea.

"Real Juice Co." will have young entrepreneurs and helpers as a team. Jazbaat Dhillon second year
student in marketing major will be showing her abilities by marketing this new business at its best. She
will be responsible for the strategic plan of the company and will be designing the app for the company.
Manpreet Singh will benefit the company by its accounting and management skills. He will be taking
care of all the expenses and costs in the company. As well, as will offer his abilities in managing the
company. Company will not suffer from any managing or accounting issues as it is all planned out very
well. The ability gap that we want to address is the making of our juice products, as we have not
explored at a great scale in this. We want to make the taste of our products good and constant for which
we are planning to hire some expert hands.

The other key elements that were suggested in the group but were not selected are as follows:
The Company should be located at downtown - We did not choose to be situated at one place because
we want to do mobile business and we want to go to people to sell our product instead of them coming
to us. Being mobile and providing products at different small town would benefit us far more than just
to be situated at downtown of Kelowna
Another suggestion made was to do mobile business but only in Kelowna, which was not chosen
because we want our products to be enjoyed by the whole Okanagan Valley. Therefore, we chose to go
to other towns for three days a week, leaving four days for Kelowna. This will for sure affect our
business in positive way and will give us chance to expand.
To be in areas like downtown and beaches more than colleges was also not considered because our
primary target market is young people between age 18 - 30 and the best place to market something for
young people is Colleges.
