INTRODUCTION
Project management is based on the practices of initiating, planning, executing and
controlling the work as a team for achieving the specific goals. It is considered as critical
practice that applies knowledge of process, tool, deliverables, skills and technique to project
activities. it must ensure that solid path to project success by meeting requirements. The primary
aim of project is analyses Bucks student union musical festivals which help for identifying the
different project activities, actions. Therefore, it explores the most effective critical path in the
project to calculate the shortest time if it required. Afterwards, it will analysis stakeholder
management along with project risk table and also developed.
TASK 1
Compare about three project management methodologies, analysis advantage and disadvantage
of project management methodologies.
There are different types of project methodologies discuss in following:
Project Methodologies:
Waterfall methodology: this type of method is to consider as oldest and well-known
technique in terms of software development. It is an efficient with highly concentration or
documentation, planning the overall requirement of project development. It is widely
used in the project development because it always maintains high quality of services.
there are different phases role played in project development such as design, coding,
planning, testing, analysing and maintenance (Akhmetshin and et.al., 2019). Different
phases are overlapping in water fall model that has completed all task in proper manner.

Agile Methodology: it is based on the process for developing an efficient software which
plays important role in development process model. In Bucks Student’s Union Music
Festival project, it will be adopting the model as per situation where it easily controls the
overall flow of process (Camargo, Galegale and das Neve, 2020). Agile methodology is
the best choice for new software development where it become flexible to select certain
plan. In this way, it provides chance to improve entire process of project and reach to
consumer satisfaction.
Figure 2 Agile model
(Source: Agile Methodology. 2018)
Spiral Model: It is based on the combination of water fall model as well as iterative. It
mainly starts with design goals and end with the client reviewing progress. It is the most
suitable model in large project because it involves continuous enhancement. The specific
activities are completed through iteration. Sometimes, it can be repeated the process in
spiral until the entire system is built in proper manner.

Advantage and Disadvantage
Advantage Disadvantage
Agile Methodology It is based on high
concentration on the
system application.
This type of method is
easily adopted by team
members for changing
requirement of project
(Gonzalez-Lopez and
Bustos., 2019).
Agile methodology is
easy to understand
overall process of
project and also
focused on the
interaction with client,
tools through processes
(Griniece and et.al.,
2020).
Lack of management

control.
Spiral Model It helps for analysing
high amount of risk
and avoid risk
enhancement.
It is expensive model
and also require
specific expertise.

The model has
provided the early in
software life cycle.
Sometimes, it is not
suitable for low risk
projects.
Waterfall Methodology It is useful for saving
time at the time of
development. it always
focused on the design
patterns (Griniece and
et.al., 2020).
It is based on the step
by step process for
consideration of cost,
time and resources.
This type of
methodology has
specified the real-life
project. It will not
easily change the
linear model (Griniece
and et.al., 2020).
Sometimes, Waterfall
methodology is not
suitable for ongoing
project.

Critical Path
It is a process or technique by using algorithum that help for scheduling and modelling a
series of activities (Griniece and et.al., 2020). Generally, it mainly applied in the project
management for completing task in specific time intervals. Through case study, it is calculating
the diagram for identifying shortage path( Griniece and et.al., 2020).

TASK 3
Analyse about stakeholder and identify internal as well as external stakeholder, describe about
work break down structure.
Stakeholder analysis is a sequential process of identifying the people before project starts,
grouping them in properly. It can be determined on the basis participation, interest which always
influence in project (Kerzner, 2019). There are different types of stakeholder participate in the
project development such as project manager, employee, train production crew, directors,
customer. Developer, marketing manager, photographer. These are different stakeholders that
plays important role in project for managing overall process in step by step manner (Griniece and
et.al., 2020).

Work break down structure
It is based on the multi-level framework that help for arranging data into graphical
format, which consists of different element (Langer, 2020). In this way, it accomplishes for
establishing relationship between one or more entities. WBS is mainly representing into logical

In above WBS, it can be categorized the role of different stakeholder which perform task
in project management. All task must be performed and decompose into break down smaller
units. Therefore, it can be easily manageable components. The structure is starting from top level
to end level.
TASK 4
Risk analysis
It is based on the process of identifying and analysing potential issues that directly impact on
the business. in this way, it requires to identify critical project which always helping for avoid
risk and mitigate them (Reed and Angolia, 2020). Initially, it has needed to address all type of
challenges, issues that directly affects on the business performance. So as implementing the risk
assessment that will support for measuring require comply with proper legislation (Popescu and
et.al., 2020). In order to gain the sufficient risk assessment that would be conducted within
organizational aspects. In given case study, risk management strategies applied in flexible to
increase capability of project and meet the specific objectives. Sometimes, it helps for enhancing
overall project performance effectively and efficiently (Griniece and et.al., 2020).
Furthermore, it will develop or design the risk management chart, analyse the different type
of potential risk and also associated with Buck student union festivals. Risk management chart
can be divided into different categorised such as external technology, organizational, project
management (Reed and Angolia, 2020). In this way, it can be established the relationship with
components for improving overall performance and efficiency of organization in proper manner.
