INTRODUCTION
Sustainable organization is an idea that describes organization that works or perform to.
promote the essential of sustainable development. An environmental friendly business is
considered more than just profits (Gutberlet, 2021). Taking care of its surrounding society and
environment make these organisations sustainable. Climate changing is a major challenges for
sustainability. Climate makes it very difficult to insight some sustainable solution to other
problems. Change in climate has become one of the major issue for business sector as it impacts
the internal and external factors o the business. The current study will shed a light over the
impact that has been created over the business due to change in climate This report will describe
the impacts that has been created due to change in climate. Along with this, the report will
highlight the relevant examples as well. Lastly, the appropriate recommendations will be made.
MAIN BODY
Climate change is the change in the environmental condition of the earth. These factors
take place because of several internal and external factors(Abid, and et.al 2021). The climate
change is the worldwide issue for the last few years. The biggest impact that has been made due
to climate change is associated within impacting the activities of business sector. As it affects the
organisations operations, higher prices for goods and services(Kuzior, Kwilinski, and
Tkachenko, 2019.). Every business that is not energy industry gets impacted by it. Damages
caused by climate changes like floods, tornados that destroys the goods. Businesses bare these
losses due to climate changes.
Climatic factors that impact the business:-
Harsher Working Condition :-
Climate change causes high temperature in the weather this becomes harder for few
sectors to work in. Physical labour involving jobs becomes tougher and difficult to perform.
Danger of Health and Safety of workers rises in the industries. This increases the costs. Another
factor is covid-19 companies and industries needs to maintain proper social distancing,
sanitizing, wearing masks all the time in workplace (Villena,2019.). A clear procedure for
coming and going, ensuring hands distance while sitting and walking.

Increased Public Pressure.
As public nowadays are more aware of climatic change(MacDonald, and et.al 2020).
They are becoming less acceptant of the businesses that does not work for reducing the
environmental changes. Buyers are purchasing products of the brand that is sustainable or having
a little steps in towards the environment. Organisations are constantly expected to get social
responsible and make small steps towards the operations of eco-friendly or to do charity for
environment.
Additional Costs:-
As the environment change is main subject for everyone including the businesses.
Government is introducing new rules and regulations for businesses which can lead to additional
cost for organisations. Organisation have to implement use green energy like setting up solar and
wind powers (MacDonald, A. and et.al 2020). But setting up these equipments costs a lot during
the covid-19 times. As cost-cutting is important in this pandemic and employers implementing
several ways to reduce cost. For instance temporary reduction of staff, salary reduction, and
unpaid holiday are some-ways companies adapting.
Lose of Productivity:-
As climate changes increases employees can get sick and injured. The rising pollution in
the environment is leading to several allergies in the air. This is leading towards the many cases
of respiratory diseases(Wysokińska-Senkus, 2021.). Water and food supply can not be sufficient
and perhaps contaminated. Which can result in diseases and deficiency disease. Ecological
changes is rising in severe diseases like malaria, Lyme. The increased heat is resulting in many
illnesses and even deaths. The environment impacts the mental stress and the overall health and
these changes fewer work time of productive working and costs higher health issues(Gutberlet,
2021.). For example during the time of covid everyone was suffering from it very badly. Work
from home was not easy as many employees were in hospitals, some were recovering in home
isolation due to this they were not able to attend the online meetings. And completing their tasks
on time was critical.

How to reduce usage of carbon footprints:-
Increase efficiency of office lighting.
Changing the lights all over the office. It can be energy saving option if LED lights are
installed everywhere in the offices. LED lights make a huge difference and it is easily and hustle
free to install(Villalonga, 2018.). As much as possible use natural lights it saves energy and is
good for sleep and helps in avoiding health risk that is with unnatural lights (Podgorodnichenko,
Edgar and McAndrew, 2020).
Print as minimally as possible.
Several offices has consumption of paper. Taking actions against cut down of paper by
minimizing printing and doing digitizing signatures and presentation etc(Adamik and Sikora-
Fernandez 2021.). While doing printing make sure to use double-sided printing option this makes
usage of paper less.
Reduce, reuse, recycle.
Buying recycled papers and refurbished phones makes big impact on the carbon
footprints. Purchasing recycled paper and notepads instead of buying new ones also reduces the
carbon releasing specified by the GHG protocol(Macalik. and Sulich, 2019). Businesses that
have large supply chain then it is necessary to ensure the sustainability.
Buy used office furniture.
Purchasing second hand office furniture also make a big difference in carbon footprints.
As it will save a lot of natural resources like woods, metals and also saves a lot of money.
Purchase of recycled chairs, desks has great impact and effect way for reducing carbon footprints
(Bode, Rogan and Singh, 2019).
Optimize heating and cooling systems.
Applying temperature controls and making sure of heating and air conditioner timed as
per the outside temperature. This can reduce the overheating& cooling. Make sure to reduce the
temperature during the night. Tons of energy can get wasted if by any chance heating and
chilling systems competitive (Bombiak and Marciniuk-Kluska, 2019).

From the above report it has been concluded that change in climate provides the drastic
impact over the activities of business. Further more the report has highlighted the major impacts
that has been created due to climate change. Moreover, the report has described the various
examples in this context. Also, the report has shown various recommendation that can lead to
reduce carbon footprints. Thus, the final conclusion that has been arrived is that change in
climate can provide the negative impacts over the activities of business that can lead to create
loss for business. There fore, it is important to provide a keen focus over making plans in relation
of controlling the factors that can impact the business due to change in climate. Hence, it has
been proven that change in climate can impact the sustainability of business therefore it is
important to provide the focus over the climate factors so the sustainability of the business can be
maintained.
From the above report it has been concluded that change in climate provides the drastic
