INTRODUCTION
In this project essay we will discuss about sustainable innovation where sustainability is
the innovative measure taken just to ensure that population use resources to meet their demands
without affecting the future availability of resources. Future generation should not get affected
because of current strategy used for resources. They are the innovative programs designed for
preserving resources for future generation and its management strategies. However, innovation
means bringing the new idea or method for product or service which will help company to grow
and gain more customers. Sustainability innovation that are responsible for making healthy
communities, clean air, natural sources and non-toxic environment, for staying healthy human
requires more resources to survive their life such as natural energy, clean water and air. Here will
also discuss about various sustainable innovative methods used nowadays and what needed
changes can be taken further maintain sustainability for future generation (Cillo and et. al.,
2019).

Sustainable innovation is aim to fulfill the needs of modern generation. Sustainability is
more important in maintain ecological balance, to prevent degradation of the environment.
Importance of sustainability includes social progress and equalities, conservation of natural
resources and stable economic growth. Innovation is important for a company’s survival and
growth. Traditional forms of innovation may result in profitable products, services, and process
but it is also harm employees or over-exploit natural resources. Sustainability is for many
reasons that includes environment quality that are responsible for making healthy communities,
clean air, natural sources and nontoxic environment, for staying healthy human requires more
resources to survive their life such as natural energy, clean water and air. Sustainable
development is all about long term preservation of energy and resources. Sustainable innovation
involves in making intentional changes to business product, services to generate long term social
and environment benefits (Wang, Rani and Razzaq, 2022).
Sustainable innovation is divided into three categories such as- Operational optimization
they can improve their operational process and change business model. They can also find a way
to better the same thing and reduce negative environmental impact example stop using the plastic

packaging and change business model. operational optimization is also refers to as eco-friendly.
Organization transformation helps in creating new products and services that may help and
provide benefits to the environment. These steps are focus on doing good by innovating new
things and companies also see sustainability as a business opportunity. System building is the
most advanced feature of sustainable innovation which involves collaborating with others to
create positive impacts on people and the world. Coffee pellets produce more energy and
producing less greenhouse gases. In recent years, negative environmental impact has led to
greater awareness about the importance of sustainability and growth of a modern sustainability
movement among companies to reduce their ecological footprints.
Besides improving brand reputation, industries are also improving operational efficacy
and product costs. Innovation considered as important programme of company success because
of positive outcomes. Company service and product that exceed the previous outcomes,
innovation is positively correspond with sustainability (Krosinsky and Cort, 2018). Through
sustainable innovation, industries can have developed novel product or services that are directly
participate in achieving sustainability for example – Bio bean is a British startup company
product, established an eco- friendly biofuel that are made from coffee waste to help London s
bus. Instead of recycling, coffee grounds have harmful greenhouse gases and toxicity in air that
may effects the digestion system such inefficient disposal methods, extracting the maximum
possible value from coffee grounds. By reducing and transforming waste into sustainable
product, 80% save carbon dioxide emission and participate to the circular economy. The unused
waste products of coffee grounds, the coffee recycling company bio-bean has manufactured

some role and responsibilities such as- assessment to discover organization’s sustainability
performance and positive outcomes, participate in organizing sustainability reports with research
recommendation and inspection. Evaluating progress of bio-bean product, collect feedback from
people either product is beneficial for people and not harming the environment and implanting
policies to ensure about company and product that it remains on track for its economic and
sustainability goals. Tools for Product and Business Model Innovation are particularly useful to
promote the adoption of sustainability in companies and industries such as- The impact canvas,
the sustainability SWOT analysis, the sustainable business model canvas, the sustainable
business innovation game, the digital ethics product canvas and the sustainability balanced score
card.
Effective persuasive communication helps to convince customer to buy product but also
create strong network among people that may help organization to grow. Persuasive
communication is important in sustainable innovation as it helps in business and marketing
professionals to make better understanding with customer and also provide adequate information
of the product. virtual team is a group of people, the main aim of virtual team includes team
design, technical skills, effective communication, build relationship and confidence with real
customer that can grow business. Virtual teams enhance relationship, confidence and boost
productivity, successful virtual team members have good communication skills, ability to do
work independently and leadership quality (Anwar, Malik and Ahmad 2022).
These all individual capabilities are helping in making business successful. Companies succeed
when it is sustainable, sustainability leads to better innovation, survive through crises and
generated more revenues. Overall, the strategic usage of a company’s resources and their
technologies technology reach at successful results, such launches is more important in
manufacturing organic business growth and also improving business function and procedure.
Another option for requirement is resource availability for sustainability-focused innovations and
the employee are trained by expert consultants and identify stakeholders that help in
collaboration work to achieve targeted goal that help in innovating new product which are not

harmful for environment and economy. sustainability also strongly influences innovation, both in
products, company culture and employee mind set. The company has worked on collaboration
between sustainability and innovation to encourage employees to integrate sustainability into
innovation which can help in achieving time and cost savings to improve business
competitiveness and environmental issues.
Building strong foundation inspire employee to live out sustainability and innovate for
better products and services to benefits to the society. Sustainable innovation is better tool of
business in different ways. The fact is that population growth and high level of waste, it means
environment concern is about to grow continuous. Sustainability and innovation are natural
sources because innovation is all about to making new things from the waste and that is useful
for the population and world and also making product better for long term. Finally, sustainable
innovation is more collaborative because it has recycling concept which is useful for company
and customers. There are many innovative ideas for sustainable development such as- making
resources efficient, healthier, non-toxic and environmentally sustainable. Herbs gardens
significantly reduces plastic packing for making fresh product that is not harmful for the
consumer and producer. Sustainable innovation also involves technological improvements that
can lead to energy saving, waste recycling, product development and pollution minimization.
TASK II
Current lifestyle includes usage of plastic disposable, plastic bags, plastic based
toothbrush, straws which are made from polypropylene which if dissolved it water, it may
disturb the oestrogen level in body, cutlery are used and even the batteries. Use of sanitary
napkins is not common in public, which is the reason for women's are not aware about its
disposal and how to maintain hygiene during menstrual days. Current lifestyle changes that are
already n use for making sustainability effective are there are availability of bamboo toothbrush
which is packed in plant based packaging as studies have shown that plastic toothbrush contains
bisphenol-A which can lead to human infertility. For preserving or storing foods, glass
containers and again stainless steel containers are been used as plastic containers have risk of
pollution and contact of harmful chemicals directly into body. Same seen is with plastic straws
and cutlery, people are becoming aware and starting using re-usable steel straws or
biodegradable straws and wooden plates are reusable or have biodegradable property. People are
more adapting towards rechargeable batteries as they are made from cobalt,leads (Bossink,2007).

More adaptive that can be taken are while convincing population for usage of more
public transport than individual transport as it will limit the fuel consumption and also help in
reduction of environmental or air pollution. To reduce air pollution, a smog free project is
launched which is a 23 feet high tower which convert polluted air into jewellery and revert fresh
air in atmosphere. Green building is a innovative measure taken by government just to ensure
that buildings should consist of green plants over in every block of floor. To make sure people
living there will breath good air. However, sun is the powerful source of energy to collect this
power, people are now installing solar panels in their home as it required low maintenance,
reduce the electricity bills, reduce green house emission which will also help in improving
climatic change and human health (Belz, 2013).
These adaptive may also includes use of LED as it takes 75% less energy and will live
around 35 times more than light bulbs. This will also include use of reusable water bottles than
plastic as it is recyclable and healthy for health to. Nowadays, people are using innovative way to
plants herbs in their home which will help in improve health, save money and also provide fresh
herbs. People are nowadays starting investing in thrift market, as it is the simple and easy way of
increasing awareness. As production of new clothes involves lots of energy and water so using
thrift clothes helps to save energy and water both. Its a innovative way to get good quality
product in less price and through this small business holders are also growing as their mission is
to just help others. This innovative way helps to save environment (Inigo and Albareda, 2016).
CONCLUSION
From the above essay it has been concluded that the effective use of sustainability
innovative products so as to use resources in that innovative way that there is no shortage of
resources for future use. Discussed about the importance of sustainable innovative alternative in
daily use. With reference of bio-been we have discussed about how they make eco-friendly fuel
from coffee beans waste which are used for public transport. Also discussed about the current
lifestyle modification taken like use of steel, glass or wooden utensils for storage and as cutler.
Avoiding used of plastic bags and increasing awareness about paper bags. Also discussed about
what are different measure one can take for maintaining sustainability.
