INTRODUCTION
Business environment can be defined as the set
that contains internal and external factors
which will affect various business decisions. It
can be divided into two parts i.e. micro business
environment and macro business environment.

TYPES OF ORGANISATION
Distinct types of organisation which exist in
environment are basically classified in three
types like public, private and voluntary
organisation. All these organisations have
several kinds of purpose so as to achieve
development and growth.

PURPOSE
• Public Sector: Most of these organisations
provide services to companies and individuals
and deals with regulation and laws.
• Private Sector: These sectors intend to earn
profits for an enterprise as well as for owners.

order to enrich and improve society. They
provide social wealth instead of material
wealth.

SCOPE AND SIZE OF
ORGANISATIONS
• Public sector organisation makes inclusion of
sub national, local and national government
and several regulatory bodies.
• Public sector organisations are owned and
governed by government and operate in
order to provide services to its customers.

partnership, sole proprietorship, franchise etc.
• Sole purpose is to generate profit and
revenue for the purpose to make growth and
development in a environment in which they
are operating.

can be termed as independent shops which
are owned by local people or residents.
• National: There are many businesses
which are operating nationally and are
expanding their branches in entire nation
are termed as national businesses.

boundaries and make transactions so as to
earn profit.

CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that
there are different types of
organisation which are like
public, private and
voluntary having different
scope, size and purpose
and operates in
environment to earn profit.
