INTRODUCTION
Business Analysis Planning refers to identifying collection of the task which needs to be
completed for ensuring that business efforts are successful. Business analysis planning is
considered to be highly significant in effectively identifying the collecting all the tasks which is
considered to be prominent in ensuring that business analysis effort is considered to be
successful. It is useful in providing the detailed plan of structure which is useful in examining the
time associated to complete the specific project. Developing effective plan involves outlining
and identifying all key tasks that are required to be completed within allotted time. Present report
is based over NHS integrated working strategy. Annual service review report submitted to Mayor
of local council. It provides about the strategic relevance of NHS 5 year forward view for the
project especially pertaining integrated workings with key partners. It will provide about the
differences and similarities between the quantitative, qualitative and the secondary data types.
Report will also present a budget for 3 year spending plan based on valid assumptions.
TASK 1
Strategic relevance of ‘NHS Five Year Forward View’ to ‘NHS integrated working strategy',?
NHS Five Year Future View, as the name suggest is a plan of NHS which used to define
the goal or objective which NHS are looking to achieve in coming five-year. It also used to
define the road map and guideline which will be followed by the NHS in process of achieving
the objective in the effective manner. There are three main point on basis of which NHS five-
year plan is set up that are why change is needed, what that change might look like and how we
can achieve it (Exworthy, Powell and Glasby, 2017). Last Five year plan which was published by
the NHS in the year 2014 has clearly defined that NHS will look to move toward the strategy of
integrated working. Five Year View plan also describes the strategic relevance linked with ‘NHS
integrated working strategy'. Also, It used to define the different step which NHS are planning
with regard to going on with the integrated working strategy of the company in the long run.
‘NHS integrated working strategy', Under this program NHS organization in partnership
with different local council take variety of different collective responsibility to manage resources
and providing NHS standard treatment. Main objective behind this strategy is to improve the
health of the population by building a good and strong chain of hospitals, NHS providers,
commissioners and local authorities. Not only that NHS are also concentrating on developing
Human resources of different local authorities by providing NHS standard of training to all the

integrated organizations (NHS five-year view plan. 2019). Some strategic relevance which had
been defined in the NHS five-year view plan are as follows:
Out of Hospital Care: Integrated working strategy will help the Gps in combining with
different nurses, communities health service, hospital specialist and also health and social care
provider together. This will eventually help the NHS in creating the out of hospital care in the
UK, as it is very difficult for NHS to reach all the patient and bring them to NHS hospital. So
with the help of the Integrated working strategy, NHS will able to build good and secure bubble
out of hospital to provide the NHS standard of treatment to the one who is in need of same.
Survey conducted by the NHS helped in understanding that individual belonging to the rural area
finds it very difficult to get NHS standard of treatment at their door step. For the same reason
integrated working strategy of the NHS will help the NHS in reaching to the rural area patient as
well.
Patient Satisfaction and convenience: It is another important strategic relevance which
has been identified in the Five-year future view plan of NHS is in regard to Patient satisfaction.
Survey conducted by the NHS had provided the outcome that there are only 50 percents of the
patient who are satisfied on a point that they are given a choice to select a hospital to have
treatment (Hampson and et.al., 2017). Plan explain that with the help of the integrated strategy of
working NHS will integrate more local authority with them, this will eventually help the
different patient in getting more option in regard to the hospital where they are looking to have
their treatment. Hence, with the help of the integrated working strategy company will able to
safeguard the satisfaction level of patient at their convenience.
Different service integration: It is another important strategic relevance which had been
passed on in the five-year NHS future plan. Plan explain that with the help of integrated strategy
NHS will able to provide more than one service at the same time to the patient. For Example: If
the individual is suffering from the cancer, NHS will diagnose the patient in a hospital where
cancer treatment can be done (Hampson and et.al., 2017). This used to help the patient in
overcoming the issue of cancer but metal and physical health of patient generally see a negative
impact. For the same reason five-year view plan explain that with the help of integrated working
NHS will able to offer more than one type of services to the patient. As if someone is suffering

define that integrated working strategy of the company used to help the company in developing
the resources and fixing good standard of health and safety in the UK. Plan explain that with the

working strategy will be in regard to improving efficiency of different operation of NHS. Main
objective which used to regulate the NHS is to provide the good quality or health treatment to all
the individual of nation. Integrated strategy of NHS will help the organization in achieving the
objective in more efficient way. As all the consumer will able to get the good quality and
standard of the treatment at their door step. Not only that this strategy will also help the NHS in
developing better Human resource in the organization, as all the nurses and personal of different
integrated organization will be provided with the NHS standard of training. Hence, NHS will

pertaining to the integrated working associated with the key partners which is relevant in the
delivering of the chosen set of services. The business report is relevant in providing the critical
analysis how the plan has been working out which eventually leads to making the local authority
effectively understand. Business reports is one of the important tool which is useful in guiding

Qualitative Data
It could be defined as the data which describes information. It is the descriptive statistical
type of data, which makes it data expressed with the categories and groups rather than the
numbers. It is also categorical data. The data is relevant to large extent in the research with a
limited use in the statistics due to the incompatibility with the statistical methods. Qualitative
data is categorised in ordinal and nominal data. The nominal data defines variables or names
while the ordinal data scale them.
Qualitative data is concerned with the descriptions that could be observed but could not
be computed. It represents characteristics or attributes. For example: data on the attributes like
honesty, intelligence, cleanliness and creativity collected using students of the class as sample

rather than conclusive.
Quantitative Data
The quantitative data is described as data whose values are measured in form of counts or
numbers, with unique numeric value attached with every single data set. It is also known as the
numerical data, as the data describes the numeric variables. The data is highly used in the
research and especially in the statistics due to its compatibility with the statistical analysis
methods. These are the different methods to analyse quantitative data depending over the type.
Quantitative data is categorised in two which are continuous data and discrete data.
Secondary data
Secondary data is one of the key significant data which helps in providing the various set
of information which is useful in providing the relevant set of information with the books,
journals, newspapers, statistical data, census, progress report and the internet searches (Ali and
et.al 2018). Secondary data is useful in reviewing and using the data which has been collected by
someone else. The most common sources of the secondary data collection is through
organizational records, census, manuals, books, journals, etc. These information are relevant in
analysing the key market trend and also signifies any sort of knowledge deficit. It is useful in
using such information and also further gathering such relevant information which can be useful
for gaining better insight related with the subject topic.
Similarities between qualitative, quantitative and secondary data types.
The major similarity between the qualitative and quantitative and secondary set of data
collection is that they have been used for the statistical analysis and research. For both types of
research data, the raw data is required (Xie and et.al., 2018). The participants are based upon the
type of research and the data required. Both qualitative and quantitative set of data collection are

and services mainly accounts for £199000. The surplus in the year 1 is 801000. This means a
huge surplus amount is left for the upcoming 2 years which can be used effectively in a greater
and relevant manner. For the second year, the NHS had £8,01,000 and the expenditures for that
period which comprise of staffing (both managers and frontline), utilities, stationary, rent,
electricity, security, training, licensing and services mainly accounts for £299000. The surplus in
the year 2 is 502000. However, for the third year, the NHS had £5,02,000 and the expenditures
for that period which comprise of staffing (both managers and frontline), utilities, stationary,
rent, electricity, security, training, licensing and services mainly accounts for £436000. The
surplus in the year 3 is 66000. The inflation rate is estimated to be 5% every year. This way it
significantly helps in the attainment of the goals and objective and improves the NHS function.
However, these budget reports are considered to be prominent in taking necessary set of long
term, medium term and short term decision (Chohan, 2017). It is highly significant in comparing
the actual performance with that of the budgeted performance. The scope of authority must be
