BUSINESS ANALYSIS4 Executive Summary Holiday Inc. appears to be one of the most reliable Australian companies that aim towards targeting quite a number of customers and even achieving most of the future goals in real time (Sekaran and Bougie 2016). Moreover, this is a project that has gained popularity across a wide range of personalities due to the quality work it has been able to offer for quite some times. Project Description Some of the major services provided by this project majorly include; a wide range of airline services, various forms of freight transport, production of food and even implementation of quite a number of loyalty programs (Uhl and Gollenia 2016). Moreover, the project has quite a number of requirements that are attached to the new information system that aims towards adequately working together in order to strongly support the entire daily operations of the airline company. Additionally, the new information system that the company plans to implement constitutes of quite a number of parameters with the major ones being various forms of flight reservation systems, reservation systems associated with travel services, different aspects of human resource management systems, systems dealing with accounting and finance and finally there will be the implementation of sales marketing systems that aims towards achieving a specific goal in life. Interestingly, the project has adequately divided all the information systems into different categories for them to be easily understood by the customers (Burns 2016). AS far as the scope boundaries for the project are concerned, there is the implementation of the flight reservation system that provides adequate and reliable reservations together with booking management services. Moreover, the project has further categorized the users into two distinct categories for an easier identification. These constitutes of the ordinary customers together with what is known as frequent flyer. The ordinary customers will be occasionally using the system for various purposes while the frequent flyer are those who use the system frequently while travelling to various destinations. Additionally, the company is concerned about implementing travel service reservation kind of system that will offer both the frequent and ordinary customers with quite a number of non-flight facilities (Albort-Morant and Ribeiro-Soriano 2016). On the other hand, the entire human resource management system is fully required to provide various functions that are related to quite a number of human resource functions thus scaling up various operations without encountering any barrier related situation. Benefits administration functions is a system that will be perfectly used to automate various records that are attached to different employees when it comes to certain benefits programs that are fully provided by the entire organization. The is also recruitment training that will offer basic functions that are related to training of the whole company. The accounting and finance systems will be required to take care of various forms of financial transactions. Moreover, there is the sales marketing system; this is a system that is fully required to carry out revenue generation by making various types of sales. The payroll on the other hand, will be able to adequately automate the entire pay process by adequate gathering of data.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS6 Identification of the stake holders Stake holders are normally important in each and every project since they have the capability of determining how well a given project can perform in order to attain the desired outcome. One of the major stake holders associated with the company are the employees. All the employees for Holiday Inc. form part and parcel of the stake holders where they can be able to come up with some appropriate decisions and strategies to ensure that the company moves towards the right direction. Additionally, the passengers who can also be referred to as the targeted customers are also part of the stake holders (Schaltegger, Lüdeke-Freund and Hansen 2016). They can easily determine how the success of the organization is likely to be in the coming future. One good thing about these stake holders is that they have the capability of providing quite a number of resources to the business most so when they are required most. In conclusion, stake holders are not attached to money or even capital, but instead, they are known to have the potential of offering certain monetary commitments to the whole business that they are normally attached to (Crane and Matten 2016). As a result of this, there is the need to give the stake holders the first priority to ensure that various organization problems are solved through the implementation of adequate recommendations.
