3BUSINESS ANALYSIS OF MINING COMPANY
Introduction:
Mining company comes with several risks and chances for the people involved. The risks
involved are extended to the limit of life and death situation. However, the business of mining
does not only impose a threat for its workers, and it has its business risks too, that needs a proper
framework of management (Bourne 2016). This line of work involves the depletion of natural
resources that is a highly sensitive issue for today’s world. Companies are compelled to establish
themselves in locations that are off-grid and thus the opportunity of their lifecycle is rapidly
decreasing (Cardona 2013). There is no longer the viability to build a permanent service mine
which is why the efficiency and the flexibility of working in these industries are taking a hit
towards the lower side of the graph.
Apart from the threat of loss of viability and lifecycle in this arena of designation, mining
possesses a huge threat to the life and health of the workers as well (Egan 2013). It is a part of
the job; the task of mining comes with traditional hazards of occupation like inhalation of coal
dust, damage in the ability to hear due to the constant noise underneath the earth and many more.
Even if the mining company desires to work in a business-sustainable manner, there are a lot of
obstructions in the way which is why it is important to have a well-framed risk management
program for the company. By analysing conflict-based perspectives and implementing a rectified
plan, the obstacles can be overcome which may allow the industry to work sustainably that it has
proposed to work by.
