This following assignment is based on Sainsbury's organisation which is the second largest chain of supermarkets in UK and formed in 1869 by John James Sainsbury. This file will cover about the different type of organisations on the basis of their size, scope and purpose. In addition to this, interconnection between various business function of an organisation, PESTE and SWOT analysis of the firm along with the strength and weaknesses of all the external factors will discuss in this report. Public sector company/ non-profit company This kind of organisations are mainly concern for providing social service to the people so as to insist them to live a better life. This type of organisations are included in local, state and national government as because minimum 51% of share is hold by government. For their funds they are highly depended on donations, taxes and fees. Herein, the selected organisation is National Health Care which gives their main focus on rendering appropriate medical services to society. 2

Voluntary Organisation/ Non-governmental organisation This is also known as common interest association as because in this all individuals comes under an agreement mostly voluntarily in terms to attain a specific purpose.
