INTRODUCTIONBusiness plays a vital role in any country's economy development and by the help ofbusiness various goods and services may be provided to the general public of a country. Businessenvironment may be defines as a surrounding factors that may influenced the business and itsoperations in either positive way or in negative. On the basis of this characteristics of suchsurrounding factors, it can be categorised in opportunities, threats, weaknesses and strengths. Itcan be further categorised on the nature of these factors such political environment, economicalenvironment, social environment and so on. It affects the functions of an company either directlyand indirectly based on the nature of these factors.For better understanding of this topic, three companies from different sector are chosenwhich are TESCO, BestwayGroup and FairWays are chosen. This report defines the varioustypes organisation along with their purposes and legal structure, their size and scope of differenttypes organisations is also prescribed. This report explains the relationship between differenttypes organisational functions and linkage to company's objective and structure. TASK 1P1 Several types of organisation and their purpose and legal structure.Organisations can be defined as a kind of venture whose objectives are different fromeach other (Hilton and Platt, 2013). This is why because there are a wide range of organisationsuch as profitable, non profitable and NGOs. Herein, the project report three kind of companiesare selected which are as follows:Public organisation: These organisations can be defined as a kind of organisations whoseobjective is to earn maximum profits. Eventually, these organisations are not based on thefund from government and donations. As a public organisation, TESCO company isselected that is located in UK which is engaged in providing groceries and generalmerchandise in the various countries.Non profit organisation: The non profit organisations may be defined as thoseorganisations which are completely controlled by the government of any particularcountry. Their main objective is to serving to general public. They do not focus on theprofit earnings. As a non profitable organisation, FairWays is selected which providescomprehensive range of services to children and young people.

Private organisations: As name assists, these organisations can be defined as those whichare not under control of any government. Eventually, these kind of companies areoperated by some group of people who contributes some fund to serve the general public.One of the common example of this type of organisation is Bestway Group which is aprivate organisation engaged in catering and pharmacy business (Hillary, 2017).Difference between the various organisations:BasisPublic organisationNon profit organisationsPrivate organisationsControl These organisations arecontrolled by owners ofcompanyorshareholders. These types oforganisations arecompletely controlledby government. As wellas there is noinvolvement ofindividualsOn the other hand, thesekind of organisations arecontrolled by any group ofperson who invest moneyby their willingness. ObjectivesAs per the name, theirobjective is to earnmaximum profits bytheir activities. Their objective is toensuring developmentof country andimproving economicgrowth.While their objective is toserving general public.Specially to thosepopulation who are belowpoverty line.RecruitmentIn these organisation,the recruitment ofemployees is done onthe basis of educationand skills of candidates.As well as in thiscandidates are hired asper the reference offormer employees andby internal sources. While in the non profitorganisations, thecandidates are hired bythe external sources. Aswell as candidates gothrough various kind ofstages of selection. In this there is no specificprocess of hiringemployees. Under thisanyone can join as per theown willingness (Shenkar,Luo and Chi, 2014).
