under business environment.

Objective
The main objective is to determine what will be
impact of environment on business.

Types of organisation
There are various organisations which are as
follows:
Private sector organisation
Public organisation
Voluntary Organisation

Purpose of Private organisation
 Selection of appropriate organisation
structure
 Maximisation of profitability
 Report transparency

Purpose of Public organisation
 Wealth and income redistribution
 Economy transformation
 Help in capital formation

Purpose of Voluntary Organisation
 Providing service to people
 Religious, social or charitable purposes
 Overall benefit to society

Size and scope of various types of
organisation
Private sector organisation: All the investments which are
made by any individual in business are made with the reason
to get it back and by making some addition in it.
Public sector organisation: The main focus of them is on
providing such goods and services which will be beneficial
for both that is for them as well as for whole society.

Size and Scope of Private sector
company
• This is quite large as compare to other forms
of business.
• In this report Tesco can be considered as a
private business enterprise.
• The area of operations are big and they also
operate other parts of the world.

company
This types of enterprise are large in terms of size
and operations.
Department of Transport is a public company
which focused on the all mobility system in
the UK.

Size and Scope of Voluntary
enterprise
• The main purpose of such unit is to provide a
social benefits to the community.
• Rainbow Trust is a non profit firm which
provide various types of services to the poor
children and people in different aspects.

Conclusion
It can be concluded that all the objectives of organisation
can be achieved in best manner by having proper
understanding of business environment. In this various
purposes for which establishment of them is done id
identified.
