Code of Conduct 2
Overview
The presented code of conduct shows the values, opinions, and point of view of the National
Australian Bank (hereinafter referred to as organization or NAB) towards its stakeholder. Further
the same shows the priorities of the organization. This code of conduct can be referred to as a
public statement that NAB is committed to conduct its business activities in the best possible
manner considering the interest of society at large. This code consists of many aspects and
provides a picture of the organization’s ideology and practices.
Scope
The code is applicable to all the stakeholders of the organization. Each director/officers,
employees, workers and other members of staff are required to comply with this code.
Right of Management
In case of any breach found in contravention of this code, the management of the organization
would have all the rights reserved. Management can take the necessary action against a person
who breaches this code either in a direct or indirect manner.

Regulatory Compliance
Many legislations and regulations are there which are applicable to the NAB. Firstly, the bank is
an Australian company registered with ASIC. In addition to this, the listing rules developed by
the Australian Stock Exchange are also applicable to the company (Roth, 2012). The company
strictly believes to follow all the compliance set out under these laws. We understand that the
government and authorities are important stakeholders and they expect a good level of
