INTRODUCTION
This report is based on the skill development opportunity for leaner in different areas. It will
outline the personal view or opinion about different kind of skills development such as
communication skill, presentation skill, team working skill and IT skills. It will describe about
Kolb’s reflective cycle model and their phases in the skill development. Moreover, It will
identify the significant of model that help for representing own personal experience.
MAIN BODY
Kolb’s reflective cycle model
This model is basically referred to as “experiential learning” it is based on the representing
the own experience, which is then reviewed, analysed and evaluated systematically manner (Al-
Sheikhly, Östlundh and Arayssi, 2020). By using Kolb’s reflective cycle model, I have been
expressing opinion or view point about different skills development such as team working,
communication, presentation and IT skills. Reflection on the process where I have been
undergone completely, express my new experience will form the starting point for kolb’s
reflective cycle.
Communication Skill-
Concrete experience
At the time meeting session, I met my facilitation partner in regards of current business
project. But at some point, I did really feel warmer and not proper way to examine a certain
condition or situation. At that time, I have realised that needed to improve own communication
skills.
Reflective observation
I am thinking back on meeting what I have started to realise to what my skills needs. In
this way, it can easily handle extent behaviour or reaction of other people. Due to fact that I was
feeling cold in meeting rooms. This kind of situation has been occurred because of discomfort in
communication skills (Din, Idris and Tajuddin, 2020). Sometimes, I have lost my mind and
