INTRODUCTION Business environment refers to the different types internal and external factors which includes clients, customers, innovative technologies, economic systems, people, employees and so on. All that factors affects business firms in both positive and negative manner. Along with this these factors also affects on that how an organization is working and how they are applying business tools and strategies to achieve targeted goals. Further, assignment is based on three types of organizations such as private (Greggs Plc), public (Crown Prosecution services) and volunteer (Oxfam) (Boons and Lüdeke-Freund, 2013). Moreover discussion will be based on size and scope of different organizations along with different types of theories towards these assorted firms. At last, interrelationship with different departments and business structure of firms will get covered. TASK 2 Various types, purposes and legal structure of organizations. Organisation refers to the different units of people which is mainly structured and managed in order to meet collective goals and objectives in a perfect way. Therefore, all type of organisations has their own structure, size, purpose and numerous activities by which they assigned several roles and responsibilities to their employees. There are different types of organisations which are going to be discussed below: Private organisation: This type of organisation mainly controlled and managed through an individual or different firms along with do not have any kind of pressure from government. In order to better understanding of private firms there is Greggs Plc has been taken which was founded in the year of 1939 and it is one of the largest bakery chain within UK. It mainly specialises in savoury goods like sandwiches, bakes and sausage rolls along with sweet items are includes vanilla slices and doughnuts as well. It is headquartered in Longbenton, United Kingdom(Bocken and et. al., 2013). Purpose:The main aim of this bakery firm is to provide better and fresh food to their customers in order to create trust towards price. Along with they have 1,850 shops worldwide by which they serves million of customers in a week. 1

Legal structure:It generally based on governance structure which is centred on a Board of directors which is helpful for firm to make their decision better by which they can improve culture of an organisation and able to give better services to their customers. Stakeholders:Greggs plc mainly believes on their two types of stakeholders like customers and staff. In order to make every customers happy they always deals with innovative food products and services in order to satisfying their needs and wants in an appropriate manner. Public organisation: This type of firm is always cope up with government rules and regulations in order to sustain for long period of time at marketplace(Belás and et. al., 2015). For better understanding of these assorted organisation Crown Prosecutions services is there which is located in Wales and England. It help societies and people towards protection from criminal prosecution. Purpose:Main purpose of this firm is to reduce criminal cases from the society along with give better advice and alternatives to police or agencies. By having this type of purpose they can achieve its targeted goals and objectives in a perfect way. Legal Structure:As it is government based organisation so that they are independent and mainly have responsibilities to overcome criminal cases within UK. So the main target or focus of this firm is family courts and police to give them accurate information effectively. Stakeholders:It generally involves governmental employees, financial institutions and so on through which they can make effective solutions to gain people confidence towards them. Voluntary Organisation These organisation based upon those employees and people who agreed on the particular agreement along with who voluntarily participate on activities. Oxfam is one of the best example of these sorts of firm which is considered as a 20 non independent charitable committees to reduce poverty from the nation(Babatunde and Adebisi, 2012). Purpose:Main aim of this firm is to offer better solutions towards poverty in order to make every people happy. Therefore they always want to make such solutions which will help them to achieve targeted goals appropriately. LegalStructure:Itisbasedontrustandunincorporatedassociationinwhich communities shows their interest to build strong relationship with people towards achieving goals and objectives by which they can achieved targeted goals and objectives in proper way. 2

With the help of this they can target large number of customers and able to grab marketing opportunities, there is brief concepts of several organisation, those are elaborated below: Private Organization (Greggs Plc): Background:Greggs plc was established through John Gregg as bakery in the year of 1939. it is one of the largest chain of bakeries within UK and deals with different types of sausage rolls and sandwiches etc. along with it is able to provide unique services to their customers by having unique quality of food items. Mission:To offer unique tasting food, for bringing the joy of eating to everyone in a perfect mode. Along with to make fresh bakery products by focusing on quality and sales them at affordable price at marketplace. Vision:Main vision of this plc is to become customer's favourite for overall items of food. With the help of this, they can easily understand consumer's needs and wants and treat them in a perfect manner. BusinessObjectives:Greggs plc always stands for fresh, tasting prepared food which is purchase by the customer's at affordable price. For more betterment they want to become favourite for all the customers(Avramenko, 2012). Products:It includes doughnuts, sandwiches, vanilla slices and so on. By having this type of bakery products they always concentrates on their packaging and delivering systems. Size:As it was the largest chain of bakery products so that now they are operating 143 franchised outlets therefore, size is broad of this firm. Scope:As they applied transactional and relational marketing strategy so that they can easily focus on customer's value and their satisfaction which will support them and increase their 3
value and services in a perfect manner. Along with they can increase its large number of shops through changing locations of existing shops. Structure: They usedGlobal Hierarchical structure in order to bring few changes within its existing shops by which they can achieve competitive market analysis. Public organisation (CPS): Background:In order to provide different types of policies they are needed to focus on criminal cases to remove criminal cases in a perfect mode. As it was found in the year of Wales and England so that they can provide numerous services for betterment of future(Andersson, Forsgren and Holm, 2015). Mission:In order to offer legal advices and policies to investigative firms and police so that they can make better decisions to conduct prosecution. Vision:To have large number of employees to protect people within society towards meet rational goals. BusinessObjectives:The main goals or objectives of this firm is to offer unique services to make each and every individual. Products:Servicesareincludesinseveraladviceswhichisusedbypoliceand investigative agencies. Size:It work around 6,000 people as an employees to get better goals and objectives. Scope:As it help nation to remove crimes so that there is large scope for people who work with them. Structure:It is based on different types of conducting prosecution services within England and Wales as well. Voluntary organisation (Oxfam): Background:It is one of the organisation which is known as 20 independent charitable trust by having aim of overcome poverty nationwide(Adeoye and Elegunde, 2012). Interrelation of different organisational functions are mention below: Human resource and marketing– Human resource department is responsible for attracting as well as selecting employees with high skills and capabilities. Marketing function of respective company will lead to increase in sales and profits of organisation. Human resource department of this company needs to provide training to its employees. So that they can perform marketing activities in effective and efficient manner(Organizational structure, 2018). Marketing and productions– It is essential that production department of respective company is developing product and services as per need and want of customer. Marketing department needs to identify as well as analyse the need and demand customers. This will help in developing product which will lead to meet with the requirements of customers. 7

CONCLUSION According to the above report it has been analysed that, business environment plays significant roles within the organizations in order to achieve their business objectives and goals by protecting from different factors externally and internally as well. There is different types of organization which all have various motive to gain successful growth at marketplace. Along with this, there are several sorts of issues and problems which is faced by firms during expanding their business in a broader way. Therefore, PESTLE and SWOT analysis are very helpful tool which is used by firms to gain competitive advantages in a better way. 8
