INTRODUCTION
Business refers as an entity and a organization which generate funds through many
activities like production, management, promotion, sales. Business is determine as a legal
structure of the company which maintain each and every organizational aspects that evaluate and
analyse the whole market situations. For a successful business, a healthy and productive
environment is really necessary so that all the businesses and organizational work done in a
efficient manner. This report analyse the purpose, size, scope and legal structure of the three
organization like NHS for public organization, Dyson private organization and Save the child
for Voluntary organization. This report describe the relation between the company organizational
functions and evaluate that how organizational functions are connected with the company
objectives and company structure. This report analyse the positive and negative affect of the
external environmental factors and also use McKinsey 7S for the internal analysis of the
company. PESTLE analysis is use to know the external factors and SWOT analysis is used to
recognize the key strengths and weaknesses of the company.

P1 Purpose and Legal Structure of Organization -Public, Private & Voluntary
Every organization contain their specific purpose and legal Structure which show the
organization applicability and motive of their establishment. Every organizations share a
different purpose and legal structure. The description of public, private and voluntary
organizations purpose and legal structure are discussed below-
Public Sector Organization
Public sector organizations are comes under control of the Government. The involvement
of Government in Public sector organization is more as compared to the other organization.
Public organization is follow all the policies , acts , procedures which basically formed by the
Government (Calabres et. al., 2018).
Example – NHS
Purpose
The main purpose of public sector organization is to work for the wealth maximization
and for the profit maximization. Public organizations work for the benefit of the society and
country growth.

Legal Structure Central Government : Public sector organization work under control of UK Government
and also controlled and ruled by the central government. The prime responsibility of
Government is to gather funds from population of the country and use it fro the welfare
of the people. State Government : Public sector organization build fro the limited locations and these
organizations also controlled and monitored by the central government of the country.
Local Government : These types of organizations ruled by the local and general
authoritative people like municipal corporation and other associations. These
corporations accumulate tax and use it to provide the goods and services to the
population.
Private Sector Organisations
Private sector organization is fully monitor and controlled by the individual and two or
more person. In these types of organization the involvement of Government is very less and the
main aim of these types of organization is to earn more profit and revenue.
Example : Dyson
Purpose
The main purpose of these types of organization is to create more profit with their
innovative and effective ideas which help in living of the people. These types of organization is
main focus to improve the efficiency of employees so that organization productivity increase at
marketplace (Dickel,Hörisch and Ritter, 2018).
Legal Structure Sole Proprietorship : It is comes under the basic legal structure of the private
organizations. Private organization is fully monitored by single person who is totally
responsible for the each and every organizational activities to earn more revenue.
Partnership : Most of the private businesses are running under the partnership in UK.
Private sector organizations are also work in a partnership. In partnership legal
structure,two ore more partners can work together and accomplish organizational goals .
Apart from this, all the partners share equal profit and loss and responsibilities.
