For this report, the business context of the Canadian industry has been selected. Report 5 will
discuss the future of business communications in the context of the travel sector in Canada.
Introduction
The travel and the tourism sector of Canada is one of the largest sectors in the world, it is
one of the most dominant industries in Canada, where the contribution of the tourism to the share
of the GDP (gross domestic product) that will contribute to the economy of Canada. The
majority of the travel spending that will account for the majority of the direct contribution to the
sector of travel and tourism in the job market of Canada.
The tourism sector of Canada will be centered on the different metropolitan areas. The United
States has become the leading source of foreign visitors to Canada. Analysis of the existing
business communications in the travel sector of Canada that will result in the national industries
that will generate the businesses that will be evident in the economy that will be drawn by the
different sectors of the economy that will be characterized by the string and the consistent form
of the growth of the economy that will determine the different levels of the job creation that will
put the selected industry in the most favorable market position that will help the country of
Canada (Jones, et.al 2017).The market share in the travel and the tourism sector ranks in the 17th
position on a global basis that was in the 8th position in the year 2000 (Singh, 2017).
Influence of the local and the governmental factors on the travel sector of
Canada
The travel sector in Canada is characterized by various forms of travel restrictions. The
exemptions to the different air travel restrictions will be characterized by the different
commitments to the level of the working, or the education system or the travel of the different

individuals that will be considered to the different essential travel restrictions in both land and
restrictions. The travel sector of Canada is the most dynamic and dynamic economic aspect that
will help the collaboration between the various similar types of businesses. The different services
of the transportation which will deliver the different visitors that was experienced by the vast
country that will create the various experiences that will compel the different visitors who will
come to Canada. The market in the US will prove to be the largest source of the market in the
different Canadian stores (Parnell, Stone & Aravopoulou, 2018). 75% of the different trips will
be characterized by the various changes over the last few decades. Specifically in the provinces
like Ontario, different regulations are imposed for the various travel agents where every
individual will have to pass a particular exam that is the TICO (Travel Industry Council of
Ontario). It constitutes the regulatory and the different legal issues that will be applicable for the
different travel agents (Vujko et.al 2017).
Role of Mass Media in the Canadian Travel Industry
The culture that exists in Canada is the most vibrant factor that will provide the nation an
immense opportunity to the mass media sector for the nation to cover the several instances that
will be presented to the people. In Canada the tourism sector will play the most significant role in
spreading the different awareness measures in the context of the changing environment that will
enhance the level of communication among the different people (Welsh, 2018). The
organizations for the destination management that will initiate the continuous level of the contact
with the companies of the mass media that will provide the accurate level of the communication
that will be analyzed by the various reports in the environmental context of the present day
(Arnfalk, 2017).
