BUSINESS CASE
1. Introduction:
Health today has become an integral part of today’shectic lifestyle. This is evident in a large number of
people suffering from many diseases such as cancer, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease.
In Vietnam, these problems have become very seriousbut people are still subjective and disregard their
health. They often rely on products from the fast-food industry, do not exercise regularly, stay up late,
using alcohol,... Due to this issue, our company believes initiating a project where people will be able to
lead a healthy lifestyle associated with regular meditation would be one among the most effective ways
to deal with this. Another reason why we carry out this project is that COVID 19 pandemic has become
more complicated so every individual must be more aware of their physical health as well as mental
health.
2. Objective
The objectives of this Healthy Lifestyle Event are to:
*Bring benefitfor the communities and accomplish goals of ahealthy lifestyle for society:
Through this event, people are encouraged to eat healthy, this can help people to prevent diseases, live
longer and provide them with enough energy to work. Besides, people should get regular exercise, avoid
tobacco and drugs and get plenty of rest. As a result, they will be less stressed and productive to
accomplish their daily task.
*Donate asmall fund to help children in remote areas:
Different activities for the less fortunate children and youths have been organised to raise not just
donations, but also arouse more mass awareness to the community of deprived children and their
families. This event is hoped the donation will help loosen the financial burdenof the poverty-stricken
families and children.
3. Current situation and opportunities:
* Current situation:
-Due to the strict regulation that the government just enforced, it is impracticable to arrange this project
during the pandemic. Moreover, our company can not afford enough expenses to organize this project.
This leads to the postponement of our activityfor about 2 3 months until the epidemic is completely
over.
* Opportunities:
-Through this event, the company can promote the company's image and reduce the costs of advertising
the company later, another opportunity is that the need to improve health in each person is at any time.
needed, should be predicting this event will succeed as expected.
-Besides, in Vietnam, there are more and more businesses and companies specializing in the production
and sale of healthy foods, sponsoring this event can also promote their brand and customers can also
enjoy food experience.
-We believethat this project will provide all the activities and information needed to meet the demand
for a healthy lifestyle.

4. Critical Assumption and Constraint:
*Critical Assumption:
The status of fast food:
According to the current economic situation and the nature of people's work, fast food is considered a
convenient option, consumed on the spot, and cheap. However, there has been a lot of researched
evidence showing variousnegative health effects of eating too much fast food.
These foods are often high in calories but have little or no nutritional value. When fast food frequently
replaces nutritious food in the diet, it can lead to undernutrition, poor health, and weight gain.
The health status of the elderly:
Worldwide, the proportion of people over the age of 60 is increasing faster than any other age group due
to increasing life expectancy and falling birth rates. As people age, basic abilities (the sum of physical and
mental abilities) tend to decline, and illnesses are often chronic and complex. The disease condition
(multiple personality disorder) increases at the same time as age.
This presents both challenges and opportunities for public health and socio-economic development of
countries. Specifically, increasing demand for both health care and long-term care, requiring a skilled
workforce, and creating a demand for an elderly-friendly environment in cities and neighborhoods close.
-Along with rapid socio-economic changes, Vietnam is now facing new health challenges. Severe climate
change, air pollution and environmental degradation, smoking and drinking habits and a sedentary
lifestyle -all of these are negatively affecting health and are risk factors for chronic diseases.
In this context, Vietnam needs to reorient the health system to give them some ways to seriously caring
their health and ensure essential public health functions.
*Constraint:
-Project timeline is planned in one month and set in one day. This event will last from 9.30am to 4.00pm.
-Project performance:No promoting profit-making activities, only bringing income to pursue social goals
-Project budget is set as 300,000,000 VND
5. Options & Recommendations:
*Options:
Option1: Widely promoted by inviting influencers like Chau Bui, Hana Giang Anh, Helly Tong, and Emmi
Hoang,.... These are active, positive, and successful people in spreading the healthy lifestyle with the lessons
and motivation from eating healthy every day. Besides, our group will call for sponsorships from organic food
companies such as Organica, Go Green, Organicfood.vn, HoaSuaFoods,... Participants will be able to try the
healthy products offered by the sponsoring company. This will increase the cost of the project, but in return
can help reach more people, create more trust and reliability, save time, and some other costs. Thereby, the
efficiency of the project is also improved.
Option 2: Our team will do all the work ourselves. This will help reduce the cost of the project, but the
effectiveness of the project will be affected since our group does not have enough capacity and experience in
promoting, the project will not be able to spread to many people. In addition, there is a high probability of
errors leading to delays and possibly other unexpected costs.
