Communication Barriers in London Underground

them unable to communicate with other for determining train timing that is also

communication barriers. It occurs due to many factors like language barrier
and uncertainty about train schedule.
In London underground staff caters their services to passengers or travelers,
through announcement they provide information about train timing. Some
tourist is unable to understand English appropriately like 30 percent Russian
comprehend this language rest are unable to speak and understand.
In winter vacation, many people plan to visit London and Use tubes as travel
source. Local Londoners and tourists both use this facility for travelling
purpose where workers are available to guide them and aware about any
technical problems or other things.

There are some barriers occur in communication procedure that affects negatively in context of London Underground.
Ineffective use of mobile application-
It is one of the biggest barriers of communication as many people are who are not using their mobile application to obtain tube timing
which allow them to communicate with service provides in effective manner.
Language barrier-
It was another obstacle consider in context of London underground where number of people come together belong to different nation
and speak in different language which make effective communication impossible. Without understanding language it is not possible
for people to understand announcement about technical issues or other issues within tube. In simple words, language may present
barriers to others who are not familiar with another one or with people expressions.
Strategies of overcome obstacles on London Underground-
In context of given case, due to high temperature air condition systems are not working well in tubes that affects travelling process of
travelers. By not using application individual was unable to communicate and get information about underground issues. There are
different communications barriers occur and affect overall process negatively. To overcome these obstacles certain effective strategies
are require that can take place in effective manner.
In context of fist barrier, to overcome this barrier administration generates awareness about importance and benefits of application,
they take appropriate action they can guide people in effective manner that make communication effective. By using smart phones
application it is easy to communicate and find out the timing of nearby tubes.
Furthermore, along with above barrier London underground situation cover with another one that is language barriers that also bring
issue while people interact or communicate with each other. To overcome this problem the best solution or strategy is put posters in
varied languages inside and around stations about technical issues in Tube which make people aware about it.

Awareness of culture issues on London Underground-
Culture awareness is act of understanding differences between themselves and other people from other nations or backgrounds,
especially differences in values and attitudes. Many people at London underground came together and use tube to visit. They all are
unable to generate awareness about different cultures it occur while individual communicate with another one. It is really very
important to generate awareness of varied culture among people.
