2 BUSINESS COMMUNICATION Introduction The report indicates that business ethics in the modern world plays a very important role for the development of an organisation.The general purpose of the report is to provide a brief highlight about the effectiveness of ethics in different parts of business. The specific purpose of the report is to analysis the works of various scholars based on the contribution they make towards the development of a proper business ethics. The scope of the report is that it can help in developing awareness of ethics in organisations. The background of the report provides an analysis of the effectiveness of organisational ethics. The outline is the analysis of scholarly articles on the topic. Discussion As stated byFerrell (2016)firstly it describes the concept of organisational ethics is mostly overlooked or misunderstood. It is important to understand the ethical concept so that cultural dominance within an organisation can be curbed. The manner in which the ethical concept can be applied can account for the development of unity among the people. However, as observed byFerrell (2016)in most of the organisations in Australia, organisational ethics are implemented. In this case, it can be said that an attempt to raise awareness about the effectiveness of organisational ethics can be considered that can help in the development of an organisation. On the other hand,Clark (2017) is of the opinion that the management of multiple generations at a workplace need to consider the manner in which cultural norms have evolved over the years. This can help in maintain and understanding the importance of ethics particularly in a multi cultural organisation. However, Boekhorst (2015) is of the opinion that effective leadership helps in the development of ethical considerations in an organisation.
3 BUSINESS COMMUNICATION Secondly, it describes that leaders need to lead from the front and ensure that goals are shared so that every employee is aware of the organisational policies. Thirdly, it can be said that corporate social responsibility can be considered as one of the ethical forms that can be maintained to prevent any type of organisational ethical issue. Valentine, Fleischman and Godkin (2015) provided an example in his article stating that workplace bullying is one of the ethical considerations that is needed to be considered by every organisation. Most of the times, it is the sales personnel that is mistreated and thus, the productivity of an organisation drops due to the bullying. Hence, it can be said that the observations made about ethics and workplace bullying can help in the implementation of the concept in organisation across Australia. Finally, from the analysis, it can be said that ethical considerations for ensuring effective business is important mainly because the presence of multiple culture within an organisation.It is necessary that every organisational ethic be considered so that behaviour within the organisation can be restored. This can also account for workplace productivity and helps to ensure effectiveness at the decision-making by considering the opinions of every employee in the organisation. Hence, it can be said that organisational ethics is important and development of monitoring of the ethical considerations can be taken into consideration.
