Introduction
Without communication it cannot be simple for the Nestlé to achieve its goals and objectives. So,
communication in the workplace is considered as the important part on which the top
management should focus as it can help to manage the entire operations.
Communication in the workplace has affected the overall change which can result to the overall
environmental changes related to technology. It has also been examined that technology and
various environmental factors have enhanced the overall complexity of the business. In this
report the emphasis will be given on the topic “Modern changes and challenges of
communicating in the Nestlé”.
So, there are various changes and challenges which took place just because of the
communication in the workplace. It is the duty of the top management to focus on maintaining
the process of communication so that it can be simple to achieve goals and objectives. There
should be proper communication in the workplace as it can help to achieve competitive
advantage.
Changes in the workplace
There are various changes in the workplace which take place just because of communication.
The change which takes place in the workplace is related to communication channel and
communication networks.
Communication flow within organizations
Upward: It has been seen that communication that flows to the top management is considered as
the upward communication. This can sometimes create issue in the workplace as subordinates
are not able to communicate effectively which can be sometimes not acceptable by the
employees. But it has also been seen that this form of communication can lead to more
committed and loyal employees in the company because on this level the employees have the
chance to raise ad speak the situation which dissatisfied the employees in the workplace (Zerfass
and Holtzhausen, 2014).
