INTRODUCTION
Communication is termed as a process in which exchange of information is done with the
help of different measures from one person to another. Effective communication practices allow
transferring of messages in effective manner that remove any form of confusion. In order to
implement effective communication practices efficient communication tool and strategy act as
key element (Ellwood, 2020). Present report includes formative set of discussions on theories of
organisational communication in addition with communication barriers. Along with this
strategies through which process can be effectively resolved are also included in this report.
Further in this report discussion upon principal and purpose behind diverse range of
organisational communication is included. Lastly, principles of effective communication in order
to enhance communication practices efficiency are also included.
Literature review
As per according to Weber’s Classical organizational theory of fixed structures main focus
of this theory is upon presence of hierarchical structure of power, as it effectively recognise
importance of division of labour as well as specialisation. In accordance to Weber this has been
determined that organisation is required to ensure that they have clear set of responsibilities and
defined roles in their structure to ensure presence of effective communication process. As it aid
entity to make sure that there is no scope for confusion in messages that management send to
different departments (Swayamsiddha, 2020). Further it has been evaluated that according to
Weber’s classical organisation theory due to its emphasize upon strict rule as well as distribution
of power this makes organisation necessary to have an ideal form of bureaucracy, within which
every person in company working structure get treatment in equal way and responsibilities and
work get divided among them according to their area of expertise. Further it has been evaluated
that Weber states that management must ensure that they have hereticalform of management
systems through which the can effectively ensure division of labour and presence of clear form

communication process can get affected by different type of barriers which is having capability

evaluated that these barriers have significance capability to affect overall profitability and

identified that there are certain form of barriers of effective communications that include
physiological and physical,Psychological and language barriers, as to effectively overcome these
barriers it is essential for entity to undertake use of efficient strategies, techniques tools and
measure through which they can enhance communication practices in workplace structure. It
further allow them to convey their message to audience in a well define an effective manner. It
has been identified in context with psychological barriers it is important for entity to make their
investment in internal growth as well as personal development of employees. In addition to this
with the implementation of efficient emotional management structure organisation can manage
psychological barriers in effective manner. However in context with language barrier barriers
organisation with having reliable translation services and by offering certain language classes in
which employees must trained with those languages that are widely used in entity workplace
structure. These measures help organisation to overcome this barrier in effective manner along
with this entity by taking use of visual method of communication and undertaking utilisation of
planar communication can overcome these barriers in a well-defined and efficient manner. It has
been evaluated that psychological barriers can be effectively overcome with the help of clarity in
thoughts. For this entity by offering weekly relaxation exercises to employees can ensure their
stable mental conditions. With the help of this, performance and productivity can be significantly
maximized. As to overcome physical barrier company with the application of new technologies
such as communication app, messaging app and emails can ensure immediate answers. Thus, it
has been evaluated that by considering all these effective strategies organisation can convey the
message to audience in efficient way.

Further this has been evaluated that main purpose and principle behind diverse range of
communication practices is to effectively strengthen organisation daily basis operations while
overcoming conflict management and problem solving aspect (Sadow, 2020). In addition to this,
by implementing communication seven principles like principle of attention,principle of
timeless, principles of clarity, principle of feedback, principles of adequacy in workplace
structure, , principle of Informality and principle of consistency entity can maximise efficiency
of employees and further improve their performance to accomplish organisational goals at great
extent.
In addition to this, it has been evaluated in terms of UK transport company (TFL) that entity
undertakes use of different types of communication in organisation that are, internal
communication in which company take advantage of visual or audio-visual, oral or written,
formal or informal etc. By taking use of this form of communication entity aim towards to

make sure that there is formative transparency prevails in the process of communication as it
effectively benefit in building trust with receiver that can be audience or employees. With the
help of this entity can accomplish their objectives in efficient and feasible manner. Concise form
of communication forma is also most important aspect which is being recommended to
organisation to undertake, in this it is essential for entity to make sure that their message or

of organisational communication of fayol and theory of Weber proves to be effective that allow
