defined as the process of sharing data or
information among the individuals within
the company. With the help of effective
communication, it helps the management
and the employees to interact in the best way
possible.

Background
 During the pandemic, it has been observed that there are lot of issues, challenges and
problems which are faced by individuals coming from different backgrounds. During the
time of lock down, it become really difficult to establish communication in a effective and
efficient manner. During the time of pandemic scenario, individuals could only communicate
with the help of video calls, email, phone calls, messages and much more. In addition to that,
it has been observed that, individuals had to deal with various issues and problems and
resulted in lacking coordination among the communication with team members.

 In business communication, there are various
theories which are included in the process of
business communication and it involves the
following:
 Under the pandemic situation, it has been taken into
consideration that Shannon Weaver Model of
communication can be implemented into a positive
way at the organizational level for the purpose to
have effective level of communication.

Example solutions to the issues from real
companies
• During the time of pandemic, it become
very tough and challenging to
communicate with each other into the
result oriented manner. There are various
organisations who have faced these kind
of issues.

• In context to organisation, the company
should focus on the adaption of new
technology for the purpose to improve the
activities of the communication that can
contribute in transferring the clear message
to the receiver. The company need to focus
on improving the professional relationship
of communication as it helps in increasing
the attention of the receiver.

Conclusion
 From the above presentation, it can be concluded that global pandemic
has resulted in causing major issues on the communication activities of the
business and the company has faced difficulties and problems in establishing the
communication with the employees and the clients. The various companies took
actions for the purpose to introduce solution in order to solve the problems
related to communication.

What went well in the presentation and why
• While I was giving my presentation, I was fully engaged with my audience and I was
highly connected and listening to them. My presentation was so powerful that the
individuals were paying attention to me in a very careful manner and there was deep
silence and every one was listening to me very attentively.

What improvements need to be made according to the
Feedback
From my feedbacks, I felt during my presentation, the body language was not good and
also my presentation delivery was not up to the mark. In addition to that my peers
mentioned that my body language was not that great while I was delivering my
presentation. For the purpose to improve my body language I started to practice and
become much more confident while doing I started to concentrate on how to stand straight
and being confident.

What actions will you take to make the suggested
improvements.
 Practice: In context to manager they have to focus on practice before delivering
the presentation for the purpose to eliminate any kind of mistakes and improving
my confidence and also focusing on improving my communication skills.
 Attending other presentations: In context to managers, they need to focus on
delivering the various types of presentation to the employees for the purpose to
improve the skills and confidence related to communication.
