Discussion Board Post
AI Summary
This discussion board post analyzes a student's response to an original post on the 'Value of Leadership.' The student critiques the original post's ambiguity, arguing that the title doesn't fully reflect the content, which focuses on leadership styles rather than the broader characteristics and importance of leadership. The analysis acknowledges the accuracy of the leadership styles discussed (transactional and transformational) but points out the omission of other important styles like cross-cultural, autocratic, democratic, and facilitative leadership. The post also highlights the absence of core leadership values such as wisdom, courage, and integrity. Despite these shortcomings, the analysis recognizes the post's strengths, including its relevant examples and clear division of leadership styles, concluding that the post is well-written but could benefit from a more comprehensive exploration of leadership concepts. The analysis is supported by references to relevant academic sources.

2BUSINESS COMMUNICATION POST A
Post A
It is clear from the title provided that Team A has chosen the “Value of leadership”
submitted by Joseph Timothy for their assessment. I do agree with their claim that this
original post is ambiguous. The title is genuinely not justifying its meaning on the context of
the content provided.
There are different types of leadership that have been discussed with providing many
different examples and also all the leadership types that are mentioned is correct. However, it
is to mention that the leadership styles are not just limited to only two style. There are many
others style as well that are equally or might be more important. The leaders in some of the
best businesses in the modern era follows cross-cultural, autocratic, democratic and
facilitative styles as well (Fein et al., 2015). The post has failed to describe them effectively.
Furthermore, it is also to note that not all the plausible characteristics are been identified.
There are many other important and core values that leaders possess and they include
wisdom, courage, authenticity, integrity, respect and humility (Copeland, 2014).
As it is already stated that all the different leadership styles that have been discussed
with providing not only one but, many good examples. All the provided examples are
relevant and inspiring and all of them are suitable in the supporting statements. With the
same, another positive aspect of the post is that the entire paper has divided the leaders into
two different leaders- the transactional and transformational.
Hence, it is to conclude that the post is well-written but there are certain important
aspects that are ignored and they are quite necessary to be used in order to allow the readers
to gain an in-depth understanding of the concept of leadership and its style.
