Barriers and challenges faced by target audience of Go Travel
Business communication have many barriers in communicating and sharing their views
with each other. Some of these challenges are also faced by target audience of Go Travel are:-
Fear and distrust on other staff:- Employees of Go Travel faces this barrier of business
communication as there is lack in trust and fear to share their views and ideas with each other.
The employees observing this barrier makes organisation delay in goal achievement as they are
very unorganized and there is no communication between different countries employees.
Poor Listening leads to conflicts:- Go Travel employees facing problem of listening
issues as they avoid contact with different countries staff due to unable to speak their language
and stereotype thinking. This create negative impact on organisation by misunderstanding,
increase in conflicts and major dissatisfaction in conversation(Kim and Jeong, 2016).

Culture Bias:- Employee of Go Travel faces this challenge of culture bias as different
countries have different culture, various thinking and acts, which creates inconvenience in
communicating. Culture diversity makes communication difficult as people have various kinds
of mindsets for different culture and language.
Tension:- Employees of Go Travel feel overwhelmed with work, which creates tension.
It consists of stressful situations because of tiredness and a lot of activities to be performed. It
creates a major role in the barrier of effective communication as it disturbs individual mentally.

Various strategies to overcome these challenges
There are various strategies to overcome these challenges faced by the employee of Go
Travel which leads to have effective communication by reducing its barriers. These strategies are
as follows:-
Tolerance:- Employee of Go Travel are benefited by tolerating the stress, over burdening
of work, maintaining trust, etc., which helps to achieve organisation goal effectively and
efficiently. Tolerance helps the individual to be patient and adjust by having control on
behaviour and being polite. It leads to reduce conflicts, misunderstanding and improve active
listening.
Acceptance of difference:- Employees of Go Travel are motivated to know about
different culture, thinking and performance which makes them to convenient to communicate
with each other. It leads to accept the change occurring and to manage lifestyle with different
countries as it results in organised staff with proper conversation.

Listening skills:- Go Travel employees develops proper listening skills by asking
clarification, providing feedback, active listening through open mind. It clarifies with
unnecessary interruption and helps to maintain eye contact. It helps to build good relations,
group outings and reduce further discussion of politics within the workplace (Li, Zhang and
Hoefler, 2017).
Regular meetings:- Go Travel employees have regular meetings as it helps to discuss the
important topics for goal achievement to identify and have evaluation on performance. It leads to
have control on activities by making further decisions to achieve goals by providing feedback
and sharing any difficulty observed.
Showing awareness of cultural issues
Employee of Go Travel should be informed about the awareness of cultural issues by
describing them about different countries culture, educating about diverse religious beliefs. This

helps to maintain good practising manners and to respect every diverse culture. These awareness
are as follows:-
Educating about diverse religions:- Employees of Go Travel are acknowledged by
educating them different religions of countries. It helps the employees to know more about each
other and their culture with respect. The employees should not make fun of their culture as
everyone have their own style of living. It helps to identify different norms, culture, moral and
values of each other.
Observe and respect diverse cultural values:- Go Travel employees are imposed to
respect each other culture which creates connectivity and proper understanding for effective
communication. It also leads to reduce the stereotype thinking and negative approach for each
other as they are well known about their morals and values.
Encourage sharing culture:- Employees of Go Travel encourage sharing culture
information by knowing more about values and culture of diverse employees. It helps them to

understand their culture and language skills which don't disrupt in communication. It leads to
have co-operation and co-ordination with each other (Wilhelm, Higuchi and Altintas, 2016).
Practise good manners:- Go Travel employees must practise good manners while
communicating with each other as it generates respect and affection. They feel free to share their
views and ideas regarding company related issues and encourage them to maintain better
relations with different nationalities. Practising good manners helps individual to have positive
impact on one another and reduce stereotype thinking.
