This article covers the theories of organizational communication, barriers preventing people from getting vaccinated, and government strategies to overcome these barriers. It discusses communication theories such as Weber’s Classic Organizational Theory of Fixed Structures, Deetz’s Managerialism Theory, and Tompkins and Cheney’s Organizational Control Theory. It also identifies five barriers of communication preventing people from getting vaccinated, including physical, emotional, information, attitudinal, and cultural barriers. Finally, it suggests government strategies to overcome these barriers, such as providing appropriate instructions for booking vaccines, raising awareness about the benefits of vaccination, and providing transportation facilities to rural people.
