Effectivecommunication by business managers facilitates information sharing between companyemployees and can substantially contribute to its commercial success (Bovee, 2010). This reportcontains the study about different types of information that are related with business, differentmethods from which internal business information can be gathered. The cooperatecommunication plans that are to be followed by organisation and lastly the legal and the ethicalissues that re related with business communications.TASK 1P1 Different types of business information, their sources and purposeThe different types of business information can be classified as:Verbal information is literally face to face which is seen as the best way to communicate.This way there is less scope for misunderstanding and it allows for verbal and non-verbalmessages. Written information is the use of physical symbols to represent words. Words are soundsthat make up speech. Other forms of physical representation, such as diagrams, graphs and chartsare also types of visual representation. On screen information may be produced on-screen. This can be seen in multimedia TVand CD-ROMs that combine text, graphics, animation, audio and video. Multimedia Multimediainformation can be text, graphics, audio, animation, video, data and many more. It is media andcontent that uses a combination of different content forms ( Bhattacharya, 2010).Web-based information is an information system that uses internet web technologies todeliver information Types of information used by Tesco plc Verbal- Tesco information Written-On screen- Tesco plc uses on screen communication with employees and customers.The purpose of business information is that message need of this to provide moreinformation of what the organisation is about and what they are going to do in the future.
