was one of leading company in UK which was established in 1978 and offers wide range of
travel accessories in the world. This report explains about various barriers and challenges faced
in communication within organisation. It also covers strategies that are used by company yo
overcome challenges of communication.

Purpose of communication and principle behind different forms of organisation communication
As per view of Betz and Phillips, (2017) effective communication helps in exchange of
information between people working in an organisation. Communication plays an important role
in growth and success of business by informing people about their roles and responsibilities in
the organisation. It helps in flow of information continuously from top to bottom and vice versa
in order to inform staff about various objectives and aims of the company. Communication also
helps in effective coordination of efforts of individual towards achievement of organisational
goals. It helps in bringing new changes in the organisational by informing and motivating
employees to adapt such changes for growth and survival of business. Effective communication
also helps in building strong interrelationship between employees thus reducing chance of
conflict and miscommunication between them. It also encourages ideas, views and opinion of
different employees thus creating a sense of belongingness and motivating it to work effectively
for achievement of organisational goals. Communication purpose is to promote growth and
success of organisation by motivating and informing employees about various trends and
objectives of company in short and long run.
