popular technology which commonly utilized public switch network. The other networking
technologies used in WAN are SONET, ATM Etc.
Scalability is the major difference between LAN and WAN. Loan covers only specific
geographical area. On the other hand WAN covers multiple cities, even countries and continents.

has been analyzed that the major issues faced by Hilton hotels is in managing the ethics at
workplace. According to the view of Murphy and Murphy,(2018), managing the workplace
ethics can be resolved by providing an appropriate training to employees. As per the opinion of
Alsetoohy and Ayoun(2018 ), specific issue can be resolved by developing the good working
environment in an organization. The author argues that Lei, Kirillova and Wang(2018 ),
workplace ethics can be managed by implementing policies and code of conduct. It has been
analyses that Hilton hotel in facing the social issues, as business entity has failed to fulfill its
corporate responsibility. According to the perception of Jung, Tom Dieck and Chung (2018), it is
required by an organization to integrate corporate social responsibility in its business operations,
as this tactic will assist an enterprise in eliminating social and ethical issues.
It has been analyses that the various benefit which Hilton hotel can gain by investing in
information technology are improved productivity. Information technology will assist
management in ensuring the smooth flow of information between different departments in an
organization which is very much crucial for smooth functioning of business. It has been analyzed
that information technology can be very much helpful in context of reducing communication
costs. Information technology can assist Hilton hotel in making the communication faster and as
well as efficient which is very much important in order to provide quality customer services . It

analyzed that by implementing the information technology at workplace Hilton hotel bring down
the linguistic, cultural and some geographical boundaries. By utilizing the information
technology, management in Hilton hotel can easily share information as well as facilitate

Information technology will aid an organization in dealing with issues related to the language
and cultural.

The major drawback of utilizing the information technology is that there are high chances
of hacking of business information. In addition to this, the huge amount of capital investment is
required for implementing as well as installing information technology at workplace.

in driving company towards success. The other thing which has been found during the study is
that information technology promotes innovation which further assist firm in gaining competitive
advantage. It has been concluded from the assignment that dishonesty among employees due to
the lack of sufficient wages or salaries is considered to be as the root cause of ethical issues faced
by organization. The other fact which has been found during the study is that diversity is the
major issues faced by the companies operating business in hospitality sector.
The different strategies are suggested in the report which can be utilized by organization
in order to deal with social or ethical issues.
