INTRODUCTION Business consulting is an activity that has been performed by business consultants that are generally involved in the work areas that are related to certain departments such as human resource, marketing, accounting and financing. They are the ones who are responsible for improving companies operations by assessing their weaknesses as well as propose effectual business solutions (Carbajal Burgos and et.al., 2020). This report will elaborate the concepts by taking two organizations such as LSST and FSB into consideration. The study will highlight the problems faced by the clients, present areas of importance to the client such as target customer market, competitors along with influencing factors from external environment. Apart from these, the information will also gathered related to the top three issues faced by the client. MAINBODY 1. Identify the clients name along with the problems faced by them The clients that have been identified are FSB and LSST who are facing individual issues. This study is about analysing the problems which is one of the effective ways to find out the solution to the issues. Project A is related to the decision which has been taken by FSB which is namely as Fairfield School of Business in order to launch a new course in the academic portfolio of the establishment. Their primary aim is to launch a portfolio which ensures that the professional knowledge on human resource has been developed. The business problem that has been faced by the FSB is about the new course which has been launched by HR as this is one of the most significant aspects among the modern workforce (Savchuk, 2018). In order to make the whole course beneficial and effective enough FSB will have to make sure that it has the ability to attract more and more students which can only be done by recruiting staff members. The availability and choice of staff are among the most important aspect within the FSB now. This problem has been generated because the FSB wants to recruit right type of candidates within their organization. Project B is related to the LSST which refers to London School of Science and Technology who are facing problems that are related to the marketing department of the establishment. The problems have been generated because of the lack of skills and experienced academicians within the organization (Rue, Ibrahim and Byars, 2019). Another most significant factor that generates issues is related to the recruitment of high profile staff members within the establishment. This
problem requires solutions by researching over the contemporary marketing knowledge as the firm recently is unable to achieve competitive advantages because of such kind of challenges. 2. Research over varied areas of importance to the clients Project A Research has been done in various areas in order to provide detailed information such as competitor analysis. As per complete evaluation, it has been identified that Province College, TCNJ and Bentley University are the major competitors of the Fairfield School of Business and thus they are highly concerned about such competitive establishments because they have the complete ability to attract more and more students within their campus. Hence, the FSB needs to make appropriate strategy in order to take competitive advantageswhich are completely develops on the basis of competitor analysis in order to achieve success by the organisation. In context of segmentation the procedure that needs to be followed by the Fairfield School of Business is psychographic segmentation as they offer various choices for courses. The choice of courses is greatly dependent upon the interests of the students, current lifestyle, value as well as personal traits of the candidates. The segmentation helps to discuss things on the basis of certain parameters for instance, if an individual does not have any kind of interest in human resource, then the candidate will not like to study the subject as well. Hence for this, the segmentation is the most appropriate and effective way to deal with their issues by the FSB. In context of target audience, it has been identified that the establishment have to set their target candidates and for that they have to adopt certain activities (Wanda and Razak, 2018). The activities are related to seeking people those are in requirement of professional degree, accounting them on an individual basis, audit them and provide consultancy to the firms in order to identify candidates or students to get them recruit and corporate employees as well as leaders within the enterprise. With the help of all these actions, the FSB is able to attract people which help to achieve success in the market place. Hence, the Fairfield School of Business must have to become very careful at the time of setting the target audiences for them. In order to position their services among the candidates FSB should focus towards position them by provide them services which has been offered by the firm. It is the essential aspect that the HR professional degree has not been offered by many of the establishments. This will help to analyse the interests and ensure that LSST has the ability to provide focus towards that. Their target audiences are business leaders, auditing bodies, accounting professionals, business graduates as well as financial professionals. However, the LSST should be very careful in the time of setting their target audiences (Akbar, French and Lawson, 2019). The competitive firm are able to provide high level of satisfaction to the students hence the firm also position itself by focusing over quality as it helps to attract more students. This also helps to develop a brand image for the business in the market. Skill assessment is also an essential task in terms of ensuring success. These are the kind of skills which are required to make sure that the problem faced by them is completely resolved. 3. Top three issues, the client is facing The problems that are faced by both the organizations are complex in nature and needs urgent resolution of such issues. With the help of getting timely resolution, the firms are able to achieve success in the market place. FSB is facing challenges regarding the HR department which can be resolved by following psychographic segmentation n the market space. LSST also follows the similar kind of procedure in order to solve their personal issues such as related to the marketing department of the firm. The ways of solving the issues are similar but the problems that has been
faced or encountered are different from one another. With the help of using certain skills, the management staffs of the individual firms are able to resolve their issues or problems. Another issue is related to the lack of skilled candidates or academicians within the establishments also generate issues for the enterprise. Hence, they require recruitment of high profile people or staff members within the organization (Soltis, Brass and Lepak, 2018). Although it requires research over contemporary marketing information and without that the firms are unable to achieve competitive advantages. Thus, the top three issues are HR department, marketing department problems and lack of experienced and skilled academicians which greatly create problems for both the organizations. CONCLUSION From the above report, it has been concluded that both the organizations such as Fairfield School of Business and London School of Science and Technology both are facing individual problems within the market place and hence requires urgent solutions in order to achieve success and get rid from challenges. The above represented study had described that each issue requires certain amount of attention over diversified areas such as the firms have to get their competitive analysis, segmentation, identify their target audiences, ways to position themselves in the market in front of their other competitors and recruit highly skilled employees or candidates in diversified departments. The members then categorised into different teams such as IT, human resource, Finance, auditing as well as communication. All these members will help to resolve specified issues and stops to generate further problems.
