INTRODUCTION
Business consulting is an activity of providing professional advice in particular area such
as human resource, finance, marketing, accountancy, management, law or engineering. Through
business consultants, organisation can achieve their goals and objective by taking professional
advice. It mainly include planning, implementation and education of business (Poulfelt and et.
al., 2017). They generally focus on identifying problems, providing objectivity, reviving an
organisation, initiating change, supplementing existing staff and also provide expertise in
specific market. The main aim of this report is to critically analyse the HR problem of FSB. The
scope of report is to overcome the issues of HR by using ABC framework and PEST analysis.
For this project, the chosen project is A which lay emphasis on FSB Campus. It is a community
learning provider which is located in Croydon. FSB is facing issue related to HR as they want to
identify the professional staff who can deliver financial management and accounting tutorial.
They are private higher education institution which offers truly diverse and multicultural learning
experience.
ANALYSIS
Problem:
The main problem is to identify and hire the specialist who can contribute their effective
knowledge in order to provide relevant lectures to student so that they can attract potential
student towards the campus. FSB has conveyed to their HR Team for identifying the effective
measures for hiring professional employees who can provide tutorial to students for accounting
and financial classes.
Competitor analysis:
Competitor analysis is conducted to identify the market share, strength, differentiators,
customer reviews, pricing and weakness of competitor. Through competitor analysis, FSB can
implement to admire how their competitors are presenting products and services in market. In
community learning provider industry there is high competition due to expertise knowledge and
skills in professionals. In order to gain competitive advantage it is necessary for FSB to focus on
implementing effective strategies that helps in growing business (Steiner-Khamsi, 2016). FSB
has decided to organise recruitment program in order to identify the effective instructor who can

possess the good accounting and financial knowledge. For conducting competitors analysis it is
necessary to have company description, summary of key management, description of how they
are capitalised, product or service description and also identify their strength and weakness.
Segment client’s problem:
The problem of FSB is to hire the best talent who can share their knowledge to make
students learn about the finance and accounting concept. The main motive is to increase the
knowledge and skills of students by offering them to clear their concepts related to accounting
and finance. FSB is targeting student of Croydon of all age due to which they need to provide
better demo of their campus and product so that they can attract more and more students towards
the courses (Canziani and Tullar, 2017). In order to attract student, FSB must focus on digital
marketing segment so that they can provide better student engagement and also implement
effective technology while making them learn about accounting and finance topics.
Target audience analysis
The target audience of FSB is students they mainly focus on providing them an
opportunity to gain knowledge of accounting and finance subject. They also focus on targeting
the consumers who have interest in availing knowledge and skills of accounting and finance
(Chaurasia and Rosin, 2017). For attracting target audience, FSB must focus on implementing
digital marketing techniques and also provide discount to their consumers so that they can enroll
in course. In order to conduct target audience analysis it is necessary to identify the right target
market, analyse offerings, conduct market research, create customer profiles and assess the
competition. Through target market analysis, FSB can develop strategies for effective sales and
marketing techniques.
Conduct market research: FSB must focus on conducting market research for the industry in
which they are dealing. It is important for FSB to research competitors and develop graphs,
reports and charts in order to add overall target market analysis.
Identify overall market: It is necessary for FSB to identify the overall market by determining
the target market who have interest in their product and service (Jackson, 2019). FSB mainly
focus on targeting students and consumers who want to gain knowledge in campus.
Segment target demographics: FSB has targeted the overall market into small segment in
which they are target students. FSB must also focus on conducting product testing and survey of
students so that they can determine their level of interest in product and campus.

and convey them about the facilities and learning concepts provided by campus.
Create document: FSB must create document in which they must add resources, add findings
and determine final thoughts.
SWOT analysis
Strength:
The strength of FSB is that they have created a strong image in Croydon by offering high
quality of educational facilities to students (Mulford, 2018). Campus provide positive working
environment to employees and students so that they can increase their knowledge and improve
their career goals.
Weakness:
Weakness of FSB is that they don't have proper resources to provide efficient and
effective facilities to their students such as lack of finance and accounting teacher.
Opportunities:
The opportunity which can be grab by FSB is to attract highly skilled professional who
can contribute their productive outcomes in improving the knowledge of students in accounting
and finance subjects. FSB can also offer online classes to students so that they can learn while
sitting at their home.
Threat:
There are various threats which can be faced by FSB such as high number of competition,
pricing of courses and high expertise specialist.
ABC framework
ABC stands for Antecedent, Behaviour and Consequence, it is a teaching tool which helps
to analyse the different kinds of behaviour which people want to change. Through implementing
this model, professionals can improve the mental and emotional functioning of students.

There are three factors at origin of problems such as marketing factor, conducting
background checks and expected qualification. It is important for FSB to focus on overcoming
these issues in order to identify specialist in finance and accounting subject (Borges and et. al.,
2017). FSB can use this tool for assessing and formulating the problem behaviours and also
understand the active behaviour ingredient of issue such as hiring issue of professionals.
Marketing factor: Marketing factor is one of the issues which arise while identifying right

professionals, FSB must focus on promoting their campus in newspaper, television or social

Personality and skills: It is another issue which creates an impact of FSB while looking for an
efficient candidate who can take session related to subject matter. The institution has to identify
the suitable employee who has right personality and skills. They have to hire the person who
suits with the personality of educator and have enough knowledge to provide guidance to

business ownership. The educational .institution faces various challenges while attracting
consumers and students, it is necessary to provide right direction and also provide services in
affordable price.
