INTRODUCTION
Business decision-making is the process which is considered to be the step by step
procedure of allowing the professionals to solve the issues through weighting the evidence and
examination of the different alternatives. It is also helpful for the choosing the path from there.
The defined process of this business decision-making is considered to be an opportunity for the
business for the end. For this project the selected company is Toucan Telemarketing Ltd which is
outbound telemarketing company based in the Cheshire near Manchester. It is also considered to
be very immensely proud of the telemarketing services and operates on a non- contract basis of
the teams. The main aim of this project is going to be the evaluation of the primary and
secondary data through the process focusing on their performance and also objectives for the
analysation of the data. This research is going to be paying strong attention of the survey
methodology and also the sampling frame. Different statistical tools which along with the
techniques are to be evaluated for the gathering of information. Attention will be paid towards
the presentation of the data through the forms of the having depth understanding.

Primary Data:
Primary data is the refereed to the data which is first hand gathered by the researcher.
Some main sources of this type of data is considered to be interviews, surveys, experiments. It is
the data which is generally collected from its original sources where it has originated from. This
is also said to be the data which originates from the regards of the best type of data which is
present in the research. It is also the sources of primary data which is usually chosen for the
tailoring of specific needs for meeting the demand of the requirements.
Secondary Data:
Secondary data is the research data which has been previously been gathered and can be
accessed by researchers. This is also considered to be the term which contrasts with the primary
data that has been collected. Secondary data is used for increasing the overall size of the sample
and in the research studies and is also selected for the efficiency which they provide towards the
maintaining of speed which comes with the utilization of an already existing resource. Some

common sources are the collection of the government public services related to the department,
libraries, internet search and also the consumers.
There are different types of the primary data collection method which can be used by the
company in order to analyse the business problem. This is very necessary for the reason that
when the statistical tools will be used appropriately then company will be in positon to find the
solution to the business problem. In the present case Toucan Telemarking Ltd is facing the issue
of decline in sales (Yang and et.al., 2022). This is a major issue which company is facing right
now and this affects the working efficiency to a great extent. Hence, in this present case, the
primary and secondary data will be used in order to analyse the working in such a manner that all
the aspect relating to sales and factors affecting the sales as well. This is necessary for the reason
that when the factors affecting the sales will not be covered then this will be affecting the whole
sales and profitability of the company.
Hence, with respect to the primary data, the use of questionnaire is being undertaken in
order to analyse the sales and other related factors as well. The questionnaire is being created in
order to analyse the factors which might result in decline in the sales of the company. This
primary data will be helpful in analysing the views of most of the employees that what factors
are affecting the sales of the company and how it can be improved.
