Introduction
There are different forms of an organization running in the market place. These organizations
have different objectives and structures that determine the ways they operate the business as
well as the scope they have in the market place. The environment of these businesses is
influenced and affected by various internal and external factors of the environment. The
internal and external forces of the environment can be identified as strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities or threats to the business firm. Similarly, various micro, as well as macro-
environmental factors, have an impact on the operations and decision making of an
organization. The report will explain different forms of organization that include the public
sector, i.e., Tesco, the private sector, i.e., Transferwise and voluntary sector, i.e., the British
Heart Foundation. Moreover, it will explore the relationship that exists between different
functions of an organization and its link with the objectives and structure of an organization.
Additionally, the paper will discuss the impact of various macro-environmental factors on the
organizational operations and the overall success of the organization. Furthermore, it will
discuss the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that organizations have through
the SWOT analysis of its internal and external environment.

Public Sector : TECO PLC.
Tesco plc, trading as Tesco, is a British multinational groceries and general merchandise
retailer with headquarters in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom.
It is the third-largest retailer in the world measured by gross revenues and the ninth-largest
retailer in the world measured by revenues.
Private Sector
TransferWise is a British online money transfer service founded in January 2011 by
Estonians Kristo Käärmann and Taavet Hinrikus and is based in London. The company
supports more than 750 currency routes across the world including GBP, USD, EUR, AUD
and CAD, and provides multi-currency accounts.
Charity organization

The British Heart Foundation is a charity organisation in the United Kingdom. It funds
research to beat heartbreak from heart and circulatory diseases and their risk factors.

An organization is operated with varied objectives, which determine its forms, functions,
sizes, structure, products and services. The different forms of organization on the basis of
their objectives and functions include public, private and voluntary sector organizations.

Public Sector
The public sector organization is such entities that are owned and operated by the government
with the motive of offering services to the citizens rather than earning a profit (Amayah,
2013).
TESCO can be considered as one of the leading public sector organizations of the UK that
offer varieties of products and services to the customers for earning higher revenue and
profit. It has been offering varieties of grocery products along with other kinds of stuff such
as DVDs and videos, mobile phones, books and clothing. It also has been operating banks,
internet service providers and petrol stations to provide better facilities and services to the
public (Ma et al., 2010)
Private Sector
The private sector organization is such entities that are owned and operated by an individual
or companies rather than the control of governmental authorities. The primary objective of
operating such a sector is to earn a higher profit (Capital Com SV Investments Ltd, 2020).
Transferwise is one of the leading private sector organizations in the UK. It offers online
money transfer services to the people. The company focuses on offering better service to its
customers by providing money remittance service charging only 0.5% fees on the service
offered. It allows users to receive money in 50 countries and send money from more than 35
countries in the world (Maxwell, nd).
Voluntary
The voluntary organization is such entities that are operated with the aim to enrich and
benefit society, often without the motive of earning profit. Such an organization has little or
no intervention of the government (Deakin, 2012).

The British Heart Foundation is a voluntary or non-profit organization that is fighting to
treat patients against heart and circulatory diseases. It is one of the largest heart charity
organization in the UK. The main focus of the British Heart Foundation is to fund research

related to cardiovascular and currently it is funding over 1000 research projects (Wilkins et
al., 2017).
