Introduction
The project report elaborates on the different types of the organization along with the purpose so
as to have a better and enhanced level of knowledge. The report in addition highlights on the fact
that is related to the attainment of the goals and objectives of the company in a better manner.
Further provided the report has highlighted on the varied functions that are being performed in
the Ashlea Financial Planning Limited along with their interrelationship in the attainment of the
objectives that are associated with the company structure and size of the operations. Apart from
that, the report has described the varied positive and negative impacts that can be faced by the
authorities of the Ashlea Financial Planning Limited while operating in the environment of the
dynamic nature. For the purpose, the report has addressed the varied approaches such as SWOT
analysis and PESTLE that can assist in the better decision making in the overall operations and
activities leading to better success.

Introduction
The portion of the project report has provided for the varied types of the organizations along with
the purpose and legal formalities involved so that better operations can be performed in an easy
manner. Further provided, the portion has highlighted on the size of the organizations that are
operating in the market environment along with the scope for the better grasping of the
knowledge.
P1 Explain different types and purposes of organizations; Public, Private and Voluntary
sectors and legal structures.
There are various types of the organizations that are operating and carrying the operations and
activities in the environment of the market. These entire organizations are set with a different
purpose and may have a varied structure with respect to the legal compliances. The different
types of the organization can be elaborated as follows:
Public organizations:
These are those organizations that are mainly organized and controlled by the authorities of the
Government. The concerned organization involves activities with respect to the infrastructure,
public services etc. In addition, the main motive of such an organization is to contribute
effectively to the growth and development of the economy. With respect to the legal structure of
the public organizations, there are different types of formalities in accordance with nature and
the activities that are being carried by the concern. McKesson is an example of such an
organization (Nganga & Nyongesa, 2012).
Private organizations:
Private organizations are the organizations that are administered by the single individuals with
the main motive to have a suitable amount of the profit. They have very little control of the
government authorities (Miller And Barbour, 2014). In relation to the legal structure, the private
organization can be easily formed without much legal complication. However, the organization

in addition to the generation of the profit supports in making a contribution in providing suitable
opportunities for the employment leading to the contribution to the development of the economy.
Example of the private organization involves McLaren Technology Group.
Voluntary organizations:
Voluntary organizations are those organizations that involve activities through which a suitable
assistance can be provided to others. The main motive is to provide help with the earning of a
suitable amount of revenue. NHS is an example of the voluntary organization (Nganga &
Nyongesa, 2012).
