Business environment is defined as the collection of all external and internal factor which
is employee, customer needs and expectation, supply and demand, consumer preface, ownership,
innovation in their recent scenario of technology, also with the social market trends and many
more which have show criteria of factor which is based on this. These factor affect the function
of the organisation and company works directly or indirectly for their customer to achieve the
given path which is go for success (Agwu, P.E., 2018). There are various of factor which usually
affect the organisation environments and their saturated situation which is based of factor of
effectiveness. As per this business environment is major aspect of any organisation. There are
various forces which help in business environment are its supplier, competitor, media,
government and various working externally, as per this start with the introduction to business
environment and learn it for their essential. As per this, BBC stated as British broadcasting
corporation which is an public service broadcaster, headquarter in London. Its world oldest
national broadcaster and the huge employee in world. Employing up to 22,000 staff in more than
16000 public sector broadcasting. In this report, the size, shape and overall structure with their
SWOT and PESTLE analysis is driven and discussed about other condition which may influence
the organisational growth.

The British broadcasting corporation is a public sector which is act as broadcaster. The
headquarter of this broadcasting service is in Westminster, London. This organisation have
world oldest national broadcaster. This organisation is established under Royal Charter. This
process operate under by agreement with various houses and departments. As with the secretary
of state for digital, culture and media or sports (Budiman and et. al., 2018). It work in funded by
annual sources of the television licensee fee. This is charged into various core like all British
household, companies and firm using any type of apparatus to gain or record live television
which is being broadcast. The charges will be taken from the British government which is agreed
by parliament. They used this fund to initiate the radio, TV and online service which the nation

is being came in the region of UK. So as per the total analysis the type of this organisation is
public and they deal with broadcast and media session in the region of UK.
ADVANTAGE
There are various advantage of public corporation, this advantage also driven with BBC
organisation. The advantages are :

·Fast and easier decision will take under organisation
·Raising funds and monetary value of organisation through the private sourcing
Since, public sector are usually large in number, they clear the benefits from the scale of
economic. Which include cheaper pricing and better quality and effective quality of services.
Because this corporation are deeply owned by usual government approaches. As per the BBC,
they gain this type of profit, because they are came under the control of government and their
regulatory bodies are government ruling body (Calabrese and et. al., 2018).
DISADVANTAGES
As per this they tend to admire various challenging option which not fulfilled by public
sector and realise and disadvantages. These are mentioned below:

·Risk to formulating inefficient products
·Financial burden
·Political interference
·Usually in public sector they misuse the power to common and normal people
·Customer ignored relatively due the aspect of their interest
·Expensive to maintain and operate the corporation
·Anti-social activities charging too much for a product which is in demand as per the related
with service too.
As per BBC, they are public sector and they are usually separated in such way where the
number of issue are faced. The public sector are usually difficult to manage, as several and
various approach should be consider during taking any decision which is effective for customer.
