INTRODUCTION
Business can be referred as a set of practises where range of activities are performed in
order to generate profit and serving the society. At the same time, business environment is made
of number of factors which are present in the environment the business is getting operated. This
report will be discussing different types of organizations working in the industry along will some
basic information (Hamilton, and Webster, 2018) At the end some critical relationships would be
presented in term of organizational function. The main aim is to decipher a fact-sheet brining
better clarity of thought and making the final outcomes receptive. For fulfilment of the aim JD
sports would be taken into consideration.

1. Introduction to sub-sectors and different types of organizations in the industry, the market size
and growth of international business environment-
With the progress of time in this industry there are range of such types of organizations
are prevailing which are somehow driving better outcomes. The forms of business organization
are as-
Public organization- These are the entities which are owned by some public stakeholders. It can
also be defined as the entities which are being controlled by public. There may be more than
51% shares hold by either government or public sector under taking. For making such entities
there is need to get registered under companies act 2006. legally at once if it is established then
there is proper process to dissolve the organization. JD is also a public organization and engaged
in sport items business. The sector is quite drastic due to hyper impacts on external business
environment (Shaposhnykov and Holovko, 2019)
Private organizations- these are the entities where the share of government may be either nil or
less than 51%. These entities are being managed and controlled by private players of the market.
Some big bulls of market are controlling these course of actions. Such entities are having core
aim of making drastic profits. For private organizations the companies act 2006 is applied. The
legal form of a private organisation is as same as public but the entire difference comes in the
form of ownership. This form of organization is also having same issues and roles,
responsibilities to perform (Khajeheian, et. al. 2018)
Voluntary organization- These are also known as non profit making organizations. Since in the
modern business environment there are rigours need to have such entities which are being run for

public interest rather than making financial profits. This form of entities are fulfilling those
means. The purpose is all about social service. Legally these are non profit, non statutory,
autonomous entities. There are some acts which impacts them as per suitability such as Charities
act 2011. legally such entities are not empowered to many things and their way and realm of
working are decided by the laws.

great market diaspora to serve it's widely ranging customers. The organization is having
headquarter in Bury, UK with revenue of around 616.73 crores GBP as per the data of year
2021. the entity came into existence in the year 1981. there are around 37297 employees are
working.
2.2 Products and service it offers-
The entity is offering number of products and services such as sport goods, accessories,
sneaker, sports fashion items etc. There is a well structured bifurcation too when it comes to its
products and services since the entity is having its widely present customers so there is great
offering when it comes to sport fashion items. With the progress of time it has introduced range
of new items, now different varieties of sport items are being provided by the organization to
fulfil the demand of its customers (Lindsay, et. al. 2019)
2.3 Size and scope of organization-
The size of the entity is quite bigger as the data suggests it has generated revenue of around
616.7 crores GBP. The entity is having its operations in across the nation with around 3400
stores. It is also having these stores across the world. The entity is registered in London Stock
Exchange which is self evidence shows its wider scope in the market.
2.4 Vision, mission and business objectives-
The vision of JD sports is “To inspire emerging generations to get a global mindset and
making connections to bring universal culture of fashions and sports”.
The mission is “to develop an excellence in physical retail sector”.
Business objective in this case is to be highly competitive in the market and hiking the overall
market share. At the same time it is striving to bring better experience to its customers so can
widen its market disphora.

2.5 Organizational and legal structure-
JP sports is one of the leading PLC which is a public owned organization. The legal formation
of this organization defies that it is working as a company. It is getting operated as per the
companies act 2006 (Kuzmina, 2020)
The organization came into existence in the year 1981 and then working onwards. The legal
formation of this entity is a public limited company which defies that it is having its great
control in the hands of public. At the same time, due to be with this legal position the
organization is supposed to abide with government rules and policies fabricated in the
companies act 2006.
Information about stakeholders-
There are number of stakeholders which are associated with the entity. The biggest stakeholders
are the investors. The people who have made investment in the organization. At the same time,
the youth is one of such a stakeholder since the mainly targetted group are them so they share
great interest with the entity. Fund providers and directors are the people who can be sited as
directing forces.
3. Internal department meet business objectives with advantages and disadvantage:
The internal department of the JD ports company have many organizations function such
as finance, marketing, HR, operations. The organization internal department are most important
for achieve the business goals and its objectives and its structure to achieve the business goals for
make profitability and productivity for business effectiveness and efficiency.
Marketing: marketing department is important department of business and it is the integral for
business operations which helps in build the strong relation of customer and other business in
effective ways. Marketing are more responsible to deliver the brand image of company and
deliver the products and services of company in more effective ways. It helps in carries out the
publicity active and customer interaction with the help of effective tools and methods. The main
benefits of the marketing department are helps in focus on the competitive marketplace over the
global and it also affects the competitive company (Tang, 2020.). It helps in develop more
customer and aware them about the company products and services. It is time saving process and
more effective and efficient process. There are some drawbacks of marketing in business such as
it is costly and expensive for company.

HR department: it is the effective management and strategic management department of
internal work process of company. This department helps in achieve the better recruitment
process and hire the best talented workers for add more benefits to JD sports. This department
provide training and development to employees for better performance and also maintain the
organizational culture to get better business structure with its objectives. Improvement in
employee’s performance is the biggest benefits and not able to hire talented employees is the
drawback for business.
Operation department: the operation is control the production process and bring effective and
smooth services which helps in meet the customer needs and expectation as well as attract the
more customer towards the business. The operation department roles are supply the chain
management, quality control, equipment’s and technology, etc. the main drawbacks of operation
management are there employees can demotivate due to the delegation of power. Control and
coordination is the benefits of business operation management (Notanubun, 2021). It also helps
in improve the business quality so, it can attract more customer towards the business and gain
advantages such as effective management.
Finance: it is the main internal department of company because it runs business in proper way
but the JD sports company have bad structure of finance and expenditure process which affects
the business reputation and its profitability. Company need to manage the entire expenditure and
investment process for maintain business profit. It examines the annual report and finial
statements to explore company profit and its loss as well. The main benefits of company are to
prepare and forecast budget plan for business future to achieve the minimum budget planning
with goals and objectives. There can be lack of proper planning, problem in budgeting,
delegation of authority, pricing, cost of budgeting, etc. there are various benefits such as helps in
reduce errors, improve productivity, improve strategy and financial transparency, measure
growth and improve business compliance.

4. Conclusions based on critical analysis of different business structures and interrelationships
between internal departments-
From the report above it can be summarized that there are wide range of business
structures which are prevailing in the market. All these structures are having their prominence.
Some key structures are there such as company, partnership, sole proprietorship etc. but these all
are having their limitations. For instance- lack of funds and lack of managerial skills are
supposed to be severest issues with sole proprietorship. At the same time, company form of legal
structure is supposed to be the most suitable for such entities which are performing business on
wider scale (Kovalchuk, et. al. 2020)
JD sports is one of such entity which is operating its business on wide level. So there are
range of such departments which are somehow interlinked to each other. Such as finance,
marketing, production, human resource etc. these different department are having their different
course of actions and carrying out activities in substitutional manner. The business has its
objective to expand business operations. The all these internal departments are somehow
interrelated. For instance the performance of HRM department brings efficiency to finance,
marketing, manufacturing department. The same relationship is prevailing in the all respective
departments.
CONCLUSION
Form the report above it can be twigged that the role of business environment in quite
drastic in business performance. The report has evaluated different legal forms of business which
are prevailing in the present market scenario. Then a fact sheet has been enumerated the facts
pertaining to the company. Throughout the course of action it was also decoded that the different
legal forms of organizations are having their great importance in different ways. At the end, an
analysis was made showing visual mapping internal departments, such as finance, marketing etc.
