Study will explain stakeholder theory and interest of these stakeholders in waste management. TASK Stakeholder theory Stakeholders can be any person who has a direct or indirect interest in the organisation or in business related to projects. Stakeholder may be an individual or any group that will be impacted by the outcome of the projects. Stakeholders may be within the organisation or outside but they are interested in the projects and in its proceedings. Stakeholders are very important for an organisation as they sponsor a project of an organisation or invest in it for the successful completion. Even they are actively watch the positive and negative outcome dependson their actions (Lu and et.al., 2015). They have the power to influence everything and every one in the businessthatincludesseniormanagement,teammembers,mangersandmanyothers. Stakeholder theory always emphasis on the success of the company when it delivers the value to its stakeholders than these value can come beyond the financial benefits.. Stakeholders are the persons that has the stake in the organisation even in waste management also. Municipality, with great responsibility for the urban cleanliness and for the persons or house holds who are using the systems are most of the time be the stakeholders in waste management. Stakeholders are in the different city having different roles and interest in the waste management (Loi,2016).Integrated sustainable waste management is having the challenge to make them agree to co-operate for some common purpose which is improving the waste management system. Stakeholders share a common social and geographicarea that may bound together from the other systems for the addition to solid waste. 1

Investors and owners business is operates to maximise the profits for their investors and owners of the company. For the waste management specially for the start-ups and recyclers, organisations always looks for the customer demandand the customer services. They also having the knowledgable and experience staff in the brand of waste management. Environmental protection is the major function as per the view of federal, state and local government. Environmental regulation defines that how landfills were accept and how the waste recycles and separate. This rule impacts the organisation and also add the potential customers for handling the recycle or material drop in the landfills. In many organisation permission of government is taken for waste management policies so they can also take some efforts into this matter (Gutberlet, 2015). Environmental group environmental protection influenced the business practices, many stakeholders can do the negative publicity on waste managers and collectors for the bad environmental records or for any violation. Investors may feel the pressure for the groups to deal with the business with safe and eco friendly practices. Environmental groups may have to address the concerns and issues of non governmental groups (Wu, Ann and Shen, 2017). Customers householdsandbusinesstrustoncollectorstohandlethetrashandotherwaste contaminants specially the item which landfills were not accept. Many of the shareholders which includes offices and shopsneed to recycle and separate container for collection. Several government bodies act as a customers by giving the contracts for collection and disposal of waste (Business Stakeholders,2019). Citizens all the citizens have the right to be notified for request permit and for landfills and hazardous waste facilities. Non government organisation, anyone can speak in the government hearings. If the business dispose its waste that they must be prepare to answer the citizens and their concerns related to it. Ability of the stakeholders to exert power in waste management and how the stake holders influence the waste management policies (Triguero, Álvarez-Aledo and Cuerva, 2016). 3
Stakeholders has the ability to improve the municipal solid waste management specially in the country having low income. Generally stakeholders are categorised in three categories that is public sector, private sector and community. Waste management need the partnership or alignment among the stakeholders so that they can continue. The character of the stakeholders prove it from their activity in concern of waste management (Soltani, Sadiq and Hewage, 2016).The role of government enables and facilitates the growing capabilities and willingness of citizens in waste management through the empowering process. It is the effort capacity building of people and at the same it also empowers the human resources through organisation. Stakeholders waste management policies are based on the waste hierarchy and includes the range of measures which includes prevention, reduction, reuse, recycling, recovery and stakeholders waste management policies are National governance policy on waste having a long history on waste and on its action. It improves the capability within which the resources are being deployed, decreasing the impact on environment for disposal of waste and directs the management for hazardous waste. It addresses to the clean-up issues. It also emphasis on minimum waste of resources (Theodoulidis and et.al., 2017) National waste for legislation is a number of international conventions and agreements that are concerned to waste and it is being reflected in the waste management. State and Territory legislation, policies and governance for waste as it regulates and administers the waste even it includes the planning for waste management and avoidance of waste. State government have been enacted many policies to control the waste management (Wu, Ann and Shen, 2017). 4
