INTRODUCTION
Business ethics is the study of ethical practices that are included in the corporate social
responsibility, insider trading, corporate governance and bribery. The ethics are responsible for
the public image of the organisation (Cornuel and et.al., 2015). They are helping the organisation
in smooth functioning. It is important for the organisations to have business ethics to increase the
performance. The report is on the case study of Fifa and loot boxes and whales. The report
includes the ethical issues in the organisation, the impact on the organisation, recommendations,
the ethical theories of the organisation and the roles of the ethical manager in the organisation.
PART 1
1. The ethical issue involved in having loot boxes in the organisation
The organisation are successful when they are having ethics which are helping them to
make the decisions. The ethical practices of the organisation are helping them in making the laws
that are governing the organisation and improving the work culture for the employees. The
organisation should increase the performance by ethical practices and they should have the laws
that are helping the business to smooth functioning. The business ethics are the culture of the
organisation that is helping them to make the laws for improvement and they are not impacting
others and increasing the performance (Hauser, 2020).
The case study is on the ethical issues with the loot boxes and whales for Fifa. The loot
boxes is the plan used by the organisation in which they are giving the online games free to
customers and then they are charging in game or through advertisement. The loot boxes are the I
game purchasers used by the organisation. The issue is that they are gambling and involve
children and they are having profits because of the in game purchasers. They are using the bank
accounts for gaming and there is money involved in attracting customers who spend to get in
return but they are not getting anything. The Fifa loot boxes are having the Fifa ultimate team
that is the feature that is attracting customers. They can select the team according to them and
they will get the players that they will not get in freemium and they will have to spend $60 to
have Lionel Messi in the team.
The roles of the business for the society

1. The ethical issue involved in having loot boxes in the organisation

The case study is on the ethical issues with the loot boxes and whales for Fifa. The loot

The roles of the business for the society
The organisation are giving good to the society and they should help them in increasing
the performance. The business should be ethical because they will affect the society. The
3
employees are important for the organisation and they should help them to have a work culture
that is increasing the performance for the people who are affected by the decisions of the
organisation (Tajalli and Segal, 2019). The Fifa loot boxes are affecting the gamers. The gamers
are not interested in the in purchase games and they are involving money. The organisation are
using children as the main factor for attracting the and they are spending money for getting
something. They are comparing the loot boxes with the Kinder Egg where they get the toy but in
loot boxes they are not getting anything and they are the virtual games that are looting gamers.
The alternatives ways
The organisation should explain then customers the impact of the loot games on the needs
and they should not make them think that they are getting something. The loot boxes
should not be on ion purchase and they should not involve money. The customers can use
virtual money as they alternative in the organisation.
The Fifa loot boxes are increasing the needs of customers to have the players who are making
them improve the performance. They should make the game win according to the game and not
make the heroes the factor for attracting customers. The organisation should focus on increasing
the performance (Maniora, 2017).
Effect of business on the various stakeholders
Stakeholders are the people who are engaging in the business like FIFA, who are directly
affected with the operations of the company. Shareholders, customers, investors all are the part
of the stakeholders of the respected company. If FIFA manage their stakeholders effectively than
they will enhance the long term success and viability of the company. There are various
stakeholders of the company which are describe below:
Customers and community: The way to the success of the any company is meet the
need and demand of the customers and community. Customers provide the running cash flow
and revenue which is needed for Fifa to earn the profit and meeting daily operating activities. If
the company not participated in the customers need they will face the negative impact.
Employees of ever rank: Loot box are the disadvantage of the company and to
overcome this issue employees of the Fifa are work effectively. They provide the good services
to the clients so that customers can feel safe and secure. When Fifa operate in a regular and
effective manner than they can easily maintain and attract the customers. Empowerment of the

employees in the organisation and their decision making skills help to take more responsibilities
and make the customers happy and satisfied.
Business partners: suppliers and business partners influence the decision making and
basic business activities. Partners make a collaboration and share the investment to make the
more opportunities. In the context of Fifa, it seems that partners are affecting most in the case of
loot box schemes.
Recommendations
The organisation should have ethics to attract customers for long term. They should focus
on giving good quality products to customer and increasing the performance of the
organisation (Wallace and Sheldon, 2015). The customers are attracted to the
organisation when they are getting good products. The loot boxes will have an impact in
the customers for short term because they are involving money and not giving what the
customers want and they are not like Kinder Egg who will give a special toy. The loot
boxes are impacting the gamers and looting them to purchase.
The business ethics is the most important factors for increasing the performance. The
organisation should give the quality products to customers. They should explain the
customers the impact of the loot boxes. The organisations should have the laws that are
making them attracting customers and they should be ethical. They should not make the
game like gambling which makes it illegal when they are focusing on children and they
are involving money in the organisation.

2. Explain two ethical theories
The business ethics is important for increasing the performance of the organisation. The
ethics of the organisation are important for the long term success an they help in attracting
customers and giving products according to the needs. There are different factors that are helping
the organisation in increasing the performance (Kish-Gephart and et.al., 2019). The organisation
is involving cost and they should use ethical practices because it will affect the needs of the
customers. The people will be attracted to the organisation when they feel that they are important
and the organisation is making products according tom then needs and they will help them in
improving performance.
Rawls theory of Justice- John Rawls was a contemporary scholar who contemplated speculations
encompassing equity. His theoryare not centered around assisting people with adapting to moral
predicaments; rather they address general ideas that consider how the criminal equity framework
should act and capacity in a liberal majority rule government. It is therefore that it significant
that all law authorization staff know about Rawls' theories of equity or if nothing else have an
overall comprehension of the significant ideas that he advances. Rawls' hypothesis is arranged
toward progressiveness and structures the reason for what law implementation, and the criminal
equity framework, ought to take a stab at in a pluralistic and liberal society. Getting from certain
ideas of implicit agreement hypothesis, Rawls imagines a general public wherein the standards of

in question doesn't encroach on the privileges of others. "Social and financial disparities are to be
orchestrated with the goal that they are both (a) sensibly expected to be for everybody's potential
benefit (b) connected to positions and workplaces open to all. The loot boxes should partake in
the abundance of society and everybody ought to get profits by the dissemination of riches.
Rawls doesn't contend that everybody should be paid the equivalent, but instead that everybody
ought to have advantage from a reasonable pay and approach those positions that pay more
(Becker, 2018). These standards should be clung to, as indicated by Rawls, to guarantee that
hindrances are killed and everybody gets similar advantages of equity. Rawls further addresses

overall articulation of how good individuals ought to carry on and it is the factors that impacts
the businesses because they want to improve performance by looting customers.

considered, utilitarian feel that what makes a profound quality be valid or reasonable is its good
commitment to people. The main traditional utilitarians are Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart
Mill. Bentham and Mill were both significant scholars and social reformers. Their hypothesis has
had a significant effect both on philosophical work in good hypothesis and on ways to deal with
monetary, political, and social arrangement. Despite the fact that utilitarianism has consistently
had numerous pundits, there are numerous 21st century masterminds that help it. The
undertaking of deciding if utilitarianism is the right good hypothesis is muddled in light of the
fact that there are various variants of the hypothesis, and its allies differ about which form is
right. This article centers around maybe the most significant splitting line between utilitarians,
the conflict between act utilitarianism and rule utilitarianism (Shen and Zhang, 2019). After a

utilitarianism and rule utilitarianism, the principle contrasts among them, and a portion of the

Reflective summary
Ethical leadership is the leadership that is defined as form in which an individual
recognises with good behaviours and are acceptable in various part of life. Ethical leaders are
those always know what are the right or wrong for the organisation (Dawson, 2018). They are
known for their fair and respectful behaviour, honest behaviour and make right decision for the
organisation. According to me, Ethical leader do justice in the organisation and treat everyone
equally and fairly and did not do biased on the basis of ethnicity, nationality and gender factors.
I will respect others and show respects to all members. Ethical leaders focus on team building
and team spirit. When an ethical leader forces the team to achieve their goals, this gives
encouragement and motivation to the employees working in a team. By adopting ethical
leadership, I will make sure that mange and control the operations of the organisation effectively
and efficiently. This will increase the changes to the employees in motivating themselves
because if I will do my work extraordinarily then workers, employees or staff will automatically
follows those rules and regulations of the organisation (Windsor, 2016). As per my opinion.
Ethical ethical are those who manage the employees and leaders both in a appropriate manner.
There are some models which are mentioned below are called 4 V: that is Values, Voice, Vision,
Virtue. These 4 V helps the company in developing positive environment among the employees
or workers. I ensure that workers or employees work with mutual respect in the business
organisation. These are discuss below:
Values: Values are the main element of ethical leaders. I will make sure that I will
develop the core values of employees or workers in a company or the business
organisation. This will develop the motivations and integrity among the employees for
the achievement of goal. Values are concerned with unique integrity values that occurs in
every employees with different choices that are associated with personal and professional
life.
Vision: In ethical leadership, leaders requires capability of doing actions or activities that
are to be performed in certain manner and order. These activities requires business vision
and individual's vision both. Every organisation has certain vision which they needs to
achieve. These visions gives the organisation to remember what they needs to do what
not. As a ethical leader, I will make sure that employees and the organisation both tries to
achieve their vision at given period of time.

Voice: Voice tone should be very polite while talking to the other person. As a Ethical
leader, I will make sure that employees and managers will talk to each other with politily
and in a good tone of voice. This creates good impression in front of the o6ther
employee. I will make sure that employees behave authentically in the organisation. This
reduces conflicts in the company and results in achievement of goal.
Virtue: Ethical leader must work in right manner in the company. So I will work
according to the employees needs and behave well good in the organisation. This can
create good image in front of the employees. I will involved in virtuous behaviour and
ask my team and employees about the vision, values and voice in alignment.
If I was a leader, I will use this make sure that employees work effectively in the work
environment and manages the business operations and do regular checks of the activities
performed in the organisation (De Roeck and Farooq, 2018).
Personal ethics are the type of philosophy that declares whether the person is doing right or
not with in individuals or the organization (Saiz-Alvarez, 2017). Personal ethics are required by
an ethical leaders to allow more effective lead their teams and employees. To support and trust
the employees working in the company, to improve decision making process and setting the
standard behaviour. Conditions that brings about personal ethics are if there is no honesty
between the employees, if there is no respect and loyalty for the employees. Then this comes the
condition of personal ethical because that helps the individual in understanding the personal
values of the employees. Then conditions that brings the unethical organisations and practises in
the company are misuses of company's technology. As a ethical leader , I will make sure that any
worker in the company does not do misuse of the technology. Because of the workers use the
company's equipment for personal development. So I will keep an eye on them that they will not
do unethical behaviour. Then compliance is the set of processes in which employees area bide by
the internal and external rules and regulations. If there is no reliability within the employees and
no honesty and good communications with the employees and employees then there is a
condition of compliance. As a ethical leader, I will make sure that I will work with full honesty
and full relatability in the company. If any unethical activity I will see, then I directly complaint
to the senior executives of the company (Popescu, 2018).

ask my team and employees about the vision, values and voice in alignment.
