Reflection
As an ethical manager, I believe that no business can survive in the market for the long
time period without following various business ethics within its workplace. This is very essential
to me for always following different ethical and legal considerations within the place of work. As
a manager of business, this is my first obligation that, always motivate to my different
employees, junior managers and leaders to systematically adhere various ethical considerations
(Surdam, 2020). According to my experience, with the support of business ethics I will be able to
make my business very successful and reputed in the market place. Of course, there are other
many other things also matter in the terms of gaining very high success, but business ethics
always gives their great contribution in the organisational success. I completely aware about
increasing market competition, in which I always tries to remove those all things, factors and
elements from my workplace that can negatively affect my business in negative way.
For example; there are most companies in the market faces many issues relating to
business ethics, like; discrimination, harassment, abuse, etc.in which I can also face these all
issues of business ethics within my place of work, so that I am fully responsible to take some few
excellent steps towards properly dealing with these various issue of business ethics. Currently
business ethics are the only way to different businesses in the market for developing a healthy
in the company as it is unethical and company does not promote such people in the workplace. If

business ethics are the only way to different businesses in the market for developing a healthy
and comfortable work environment. Basically, by developing this type of environments in the
workplace I will be able to remove these all issues of business ethics from my workplace. I have
learnt somewhere, that an ethical workplace always contributes in achieving an effective
workforce, so that with the support of ethical workplace, I can also simply gain an effective
workforce (Tormo-Carbó, Seguí-Mas and Oltra, 2016). Basically, many of employees or people
mostly like to work in that type of workplaces where upper manager of that workplace already
maintained an ethicalness there.
An employee always be highly motivated to put its huge efforts to while working in an
ethical place of work, so that as an ethical manager, this is my prime duty to maintain various
ethics of business in my workplace. For example; in this job role, I am fully responsible to
consider my employees’ strengths and weaknesses on the basis of their performance, not on the
basis of employees’ background. I have properly understood that, considering employees’
strengths and weakness on the basis of their caste, religion, ethnicity and colour etc. it is fully
violation of business ethics. This is the main reason that, currently many of employees within my
workplace are very satisfied with me, because I always try to do things in very ethical manner. I
know that, many times, many employees have negative motivation in the workplace, so that
these types of employees can negatively affect my business operations. In this situation, I have
highly required to make a strict policy against employees who have negative motivation and
mindset.
I have learnt in a business magazine that, once a company has terminated its those
employees from the workplace who was having negative motivation (Ciulla, 2020). So that as an
ethical manager, I am also responsible to take this type of decisions for maintaining effective
measures of business ethics in the own workplace. Basically, this is very common thing that,
employees with negative mindset and motivation always negatively affect to any company’s
ethical work culture and environment, and that’s why I have required to take quick action about
it. As an ethical manager, I responsible to take action towards adhering various laws, rules &
regulations also in the place of work. For example; employment law, contract law, health and
safety act etc. By considering these all mentioned factors in the personal life, I can simply
perform very well in the job role of an ethical manager in the future. Now I fully understood that,
business ethics are enough to a venture for maintaining its positive image in market place, so I
workplace I will be able to remove these all issues of business ethics from my workplace. I have

ethical place of work, so that as an ethical manager, this is my prime duty to maintain various
ethics of business in my workplace.
