Duty to rescue is the responsibility in common (tort) law in which an observer owes a
person in distress (Miller, 2019). This law relates to several circumstances and spells the
punishment which can be undertaken in a given scenario. It is important to note that common
law is never written but considered to be a practice of moral obligation. Common scenarios
include:
i. When a person creates a dangerous situation, which might make them to fall in
danger then they owe them rescue out of it in case they are faced by the danger.
ii. An employer is supposed to rescue an employee when certain circumstance arises
in work related issues.
iii. Parents to their Minor children. Parents have a responsibility to rescue/protect
their minor children from circumstances.
Business ethics refers to executing business policies in order to ensure trust within the
stakeholders and clients/customers (Terziev et al., 2020). This polices touch mainly on
controversial areas such as:
i. Corporate governance- which discuss, inside trading, bribery, discrimination,
social responsibility, fiduciary responsibilities. There is always are common law
in regard to these factors. For instance
Corporate social responsibility is a business management strategy that ensures that
business is aligned to societal social and environmental goals. This concept ensures that
business engage in acts of activism, philanthropic and charitable engagement willingly or due
to societal norms.
Moral philosophy shows how the society uses certain systems to come up with certain
ways to grade conducts as morally right or wrong (Willaschek, 2017). This encompasses the
study and justification of moral claims. This comprises of: Metaethics which tries to answer
