INTRODUCTIONMain aim of organizing a job fair is that it helps in providing an excellent opportunity tothe individual so that they can acknowledge their skills and proficiencies so that they can berecruited by multinational companies. Therefore, it is essential for the organizations to organizecareer fair to help students in deciding their career goals and objectives (Kerr, 2014). However,for a high school pass student it becomes a tough decision to choose right path therefore,academic counsellors are required to provide correct guidance in choosing right career pathwhich matches with individual skills and interest to achieve future goals. Thus, in this particularstudy, a proper career fair has been organized for students to provide them with right directionand path to achieve desired goals. TASK 11.It can be assessed that there are various benefits of carrying out an effective event such asorganizing career fair requires proper time scale so that set goals can be attained. Also, it helps indelivering required opportunities for students to pursue their career path and meet needs of theproject. However, event planners are required to plan proper activities and also set agreed timelimit to meet the requirements of project. Further, main advantage of carrying out career pathhelps high school students who often get confused in making crucial decision about their careerpath. Therefore, event management team is required to plan the event activities and also setparticular time period to fulfil the requirements of project (Getz, 2013). 2.It involves different documents which are required for pursuing career event such asdifferent job description details that needs to be provided to students for different fields such asmarketing, finance, legal and operational. Also, being an event planner it is essential for me tohave list of competitors participating in the job fair so that I can make effective brochure of mylist of companies who are participating in the job fair to recruit potential candidates. Significanceof such document is necessary as it helps the event planner to provide detailed information tocandidates enrolling in job fair and improve their skills and knowledge. Further, it is essential forme to identify the list of universities and colleges operating in the nearby area where career fairis organized so that I can forecast the number of candidates arriving at the event. importance of this document is that students visiting the career fair can enhance their knowledgeregarding the companies so that they can decide their future career by working within suchorganization. Individual also come to know about job description and person specificationrequired by the organization so that they can match their skills and talents to acquire particularjob (Aguiar-Quintana, 2015). 3.The resources which are required to organize a successful job fair by event planner areconsiderable time and effort. However, at the planning stage it requires huge time so that fair canbe organized effectively. Event organizers should prepare a proper list of job seekers who arelikely to attend fair and companies attending the career fair to decide upon the most crucialfeatures of the fair. Event planner should choose particular location to organize job fair so thatanticipated number of people can attend the fair which will further result in success of the event.Organizers should possess a list of participating companies and their head office location so thatcrucial information can be provided to the interested candidates (Lyck, 2012). Event plannershould arrange necessities such as chair, tables and other equipment such as computer, laptopsand projector etc. so that desired information can be provided to the candidates. 4.It can be assessed that carrying out a career event helps in reviewing and evaluating thatthe resources required should be effectively implemented at the location of job fair so that eventcan attain success. Further, the event planner should analyse methods used to carry out the jobfair to attain desired targets. Organizers of the event are required to develop appropriate methodsso that effective selection of resources can be done to achieve the desired outputs (It’s My Party:The Role of Public Relations in Event Planning, 2012). TASK 21.Step 1- Here, event planners are required to select a date, time and place for organizing the fair.It is essential for them to select location as per the anticipated number of candidates.Step 2- To decide the fair objectives as it will be specific or general. Further, it is required toprepare a list of companies that are going to participate in the event (Wagen, 2010).
