merely come up with deep knowledge of business operations and principles within the industry.
The overall business analysts completely depends on their ability to adapt alongside digital
disruption. In addition, they are required to enhance their interpersonal skills enough to ensure
holistic business operation and functional implementation. It is expected that these trend will set
up much more positive impact on overall growth of business like adaptation of new technology.
The increasing availability of big data stands out to be an influencing factor for business
analysis.

Introduction
At present, there is an era regarding technological and digital; some of the modern
business are implementing this in line with it. Organization are completely based on business
analysts, and project manager focus on guiding them by making use of disruption. The mere
advice is on the best practices and growing technologies. Some of the predictive technologies
like artificial intelligence and internet of things can provide some industry trends (Fonseca,
Nguyen, Schlueter, & Marechal, 2016). Data patterns come up with the power to have significant
impact on both business and its operation. There are list of challenges which come up from the
perspective of rapid digital transformation. The point needs to be ensured that organization need
to be completely prepared. They require to have certain number of skill specialists like data
scientist that stand out to be very much important (Sinha & Jain, 2017). There is need for right
tool in the software of software, which helps in analysis and management of large amount of
data. It merely helps in staying competitive in the present digital climate. Organization needs to
come up with much more strategic business decision which can be implemented like machine
learning. Any kind of wrong decision will ultimately leads to catastrophic action. Business
analysts play a major role due to digitally focus.
In the coming pages of report, a research has been conducted for identification on
implication of trend in both contemporary and future business system analysis. A comparison has
been done regarding effects of the identified trends on accessing the stakeholder’s requirement.
The complete analysis has been done from the perspective of system analysts.
Research Approach
The research approach this study is needed so that there can be format for conducting the
study, which is revealed (Dennis, Wixom, & Roth, 2018). There is a particular research topic

taken into account for the study, which either of the two ways inductive or deductive. The
inductive approach is very much helpful in studying the research topic when enough data is not
available on the available topic. The beginning stage of inductive approach is observation, which
helps in having relevant details. In addition, it helps in gaining all the relevant information. This
merely helps in building a path for the research. As per Babarit et al. (2017) inductive approach
works like a new theory which highlight the practical implication on the studied theory. It merely
focus on gaining complete access to content of research paper. On the contrary, deductive
approach focus on building a theory with much more specification and theories in relation to data
analysis (Ventä-Olkkonen, Iivari, & Lanamäki, 2019). Considering the nature of study and topic
of research, the selected approach is done, which merely help in better analysis of the given
topic.
In this study, topic selected for studying the different concept in related to implication of
trend in business system analysis (Ellis-Braithwaite, Lock, Dawson, & King, 2017). The chosen
research approach for this study is deductive. In this particular case, inductive approach cannot
be chosen as no new theories or concept are highlighted by researcher.
Methodology
Research methodology helps in completely defining the right approach which required to
be adopted in order to have complete details of research process. There is a list of theories and
concept in research methodology which help in better analysis of this research topic. Proper
research methodology helps in complete understanding of the procedure needed for analyzing the
trend in business system analysis (Ellis-Braithwaite et al., 2017). Qualitative data is very much
helpful in recording the narrative data form. In addition, it also helps in better description of
research topic. Qualitative data is helpful in adding up some theoretical concepts in the practical

domain, which ultimately helps in better understanding of the topic. Quantitative data refers to
the statistical data which is needed for recording data of large sample size. In this study,
qualitative data techniques will be used.
Detail description of identified trends
Some of the identified trends in business system analysis are
Digital Transformation: In the last few years, digital transformation stand out to be an
important keyword in relation to business analysts and project manager. Not much of the people
are working in organization which are going through this kind of transformation (K. D. Singh,
2015). Being the trusted advisor, the organization can make use of right approach in
transforming the digital world. There is proper guidance so that maximum benefits can be
obtained regarding the use of digital technologies. It is achieved by making use of predictive
analytics and artificial intelligence.
Acceptance of business analysis on agile team: Need of business analysts on some of
agile project is not a new thing. In the last few years, much of the organization have added agile
business analysis for the role of a developing team (Basias & Pollalis, 2018). The only new thing
is that its acceptance by the community of business analysis on agile projects. It does not take
into account title role, which is assigned to that particular function. It stand out to be much more
accepted business analysis task and techniques along with recognition. It ultimately provides
value and much better outcomes.
PMS Product centric vs Project centric: Most of the project manager who grew up
professionally in project management view things from a project-centered. Most of the project
manager have learned to develop a complete sense of ownership but also has identity with

project having life of their own (Costa, Barros, de Castro, de Godoi, & Ribeiro, 2018). Agile has
completely change the world of project and refocus on project to product. PM completely
understood the concept of value proposition of project, which emphasizes on product. PM tend to
become much more comfortable with the idea and incorporation of language of product-centered
view (Mondal, 2018). It is also seen in some of traditional environment of project management.
Business architecture on agile project: In the previous days, business architecture were
considered to be unnecessary overhead. Business architecture focus slowing the agile team since
the lead time before the agile project can start. Now most of the firms are understanding the
business architecture, which has benefit for agile project (Omona, 2018). It can also help the
team member to understand interrelationship of different business process. It is specifically for
the complex projects which come up with agile team. It can help in ensuring a real-business need
for exist prior to running of team with a particular solution.
PMOS and COES: Both organizational PMOs and center of excellence are completely
combined into single functional unit with same supporting manager and implementation of agile
practices (Meyer & Morin, 2016). New unit will help in repository of some common tools and
technologies in order to support this kind of practices. It also lead to hiring, career development
and day-to-day supervision of some project professionals. PMCoE can also help in overseeing
some of intellectual resources, stakeholder’s feedback and continuous improvement.
Impact of trends on stakeholder requirements
In the present situation of fast change, business analysis tends to become much more
relevant. Business analysts help the organization in identifying problem, threats, and
opportunities. It merely works with some of the stakeholders in order to create new products for

a way for solving some of the major issues. Both skills and underpin business analysis, like
system thinking aims to play an important role in this particular context. This ultimately provides
a significant opportunities for business analyst who can work with some of the stakeholders. This
will help them in facilitating strategic analysis (Hess, Matt, Benlian, & Wiesböck, 2016). It can
help the organization and team for its breath to be recognized. The only team can find some of
their stakeholders in order to narrow some of the expectation of business analysis.
Changes in organizational need will make demand and much focus on the context of
business and not information technology. Interaction will take place among process, people,
business rulers, and other enablers (Ustundag & Cevikcan, 2017). Organization needs to apply
some of concept of business analysis prior to investment on some enterprise solution. It aims in
ensuing that there tight fit and showing the business with some great value in making changes in
their processes instead of software customization.
The given trend is completely driven by some of industry executives who have
completely prevalent the industry trends in order to customize COTS instead of configuring it.
Business analysis will help in determining the software needed by organization by focusing on
requirements. This merely ensures that each of the organization process by understanding the
requirements (A. Singh & Hess, 2017). At time of managing the requirements, one of the biggest
model for business analysts is to spend much less time in filling out templates. This merely takes
up much more time in collaboration with stakeholder in getting the right requirements.
Some of tools like use-case, work-flow diagram, and other models which are used by
business analyst can easily improve the analysis and communication. It will ultimately help in
better collaboration with some of the stakeholders. This merely helps in gaining the trust in the
given model. Stakeholders and text will help in each and every aspect of the solution, which is

whole organization in order to collective deal with complexity and nearby changes in future.
At present, the business climate require project driven change, which requires to be
executed by making use of much more discipline and agility. There are around top trends which
help the business analysts to help the firm for selecting the right solution (Trad & Kalpić, 2016).
It has been suggested to provide business value. Business analysts interact with some of
stakeholders in the firm will face critical need to bridge existing gap between strategy and
execution.
Identified trends and their requirement from the perspective of System
Analysts
Most of the business around the globe are rapidly adopting some of the latest
technologies like DevOps, machine learning, and other application for complete optimization. It
clearly highlights that business analyst are completely familiar with these latest technologies.
System analysts can easily familiarize themselves and completely proficient with these given
technologies (Noran & Bernus, 2017). IoT will ultimately result in generation of huge data in
upcoming days. At present, most of the business around the globe are looking for business
analysts who can have idea regarding big data theory and methods of mining data needed for
overall business development.
The whole world of business is experiencing an untold pressure needed for agile process
in order to offer customers what they demand quickly. Business analysts who have not accepted
these practices will face issue in staying afloat and effective delivery (Lo & Chen, 2017). At
present, business analysts completely focus on taking charge and oversee different kind of

project in order evaluate and gain extra value from different business project. In most of the
organization, business analysts are actively engaged in agile projects. They are even actively
engaged with product owners in different areas of application testing, user experience design.
Business analysts may deviate from link in between stakeholders and emphasize on agent of
collaboration, communication, and change (Fonseca et al., 2016). Most of the big organization
around the globe have accepted agile practices, and business analysts can influence their projects
in positive way.
Business analysts need to advantage of different mobile application and cloud computing.
The given two trends are developing at a much faster rate on global platform. The technological
development are expected to completely influence business analysis with relation with both non-
functional and functional needs (A. Singh & Hess, 2017). Business analysts have understood
regarding the benefits of mobile application which has the capability of defining the importance
of benefits. It helps in achieving the objectives of organization and complete re-designing of
whole business process. Organizations are looking for different ways in order to reduce the
overall cost and even can handle the demand for information and delivery at faster rate (Dennis
et al., 2018). Cloud stand out to be as one of the effective solution with respect to enhancing
efficiency, promotion of productivity, and lastly reducing legal risk. Implementation of cloud
computing has huge number of effect on the organization.
Analysts need to help the business so that they can embrace the change. Business analysts
can easily handle various kind of affiliated task in relation to cloud computing. Business analysis
is completely related to data presentation and this aims the analysts to make use of some
advanced tools and application (Babarit et al., 2017). Coming up with good user interface and
providing them with powerful capabilities ultimately help in enhancing the overall user

fulfillment at the time of working with technology. Augmented and virtual reality is expected to

much similar to business analysis, which highlight that analysts can easily pick up experience
skill of user (Ventä-Olkkonen et al., 2019). Different kind of activities related to business
analysis activities like system design, requirement definition and testing completely integrate
with user experience design.

of trend in business system analysis. In the report, a comparison has been done regarding the
effect of identified trends on analyzing the stakeholder’s requirements. It is expected the trend
will be have positive business growth in next two years. This has come into picture as a result of

business analysis. Agile stand out to be project management methodology which is completely
defined by the association of project management. This stand out to be an approach for
delivering requirements in iterative and increment way in whole project life cycle. Agile stand
out to be requirement to exhibit some of the central values and behavior regarding trust,
empowerment, flexibility, and proper collaboration. With the passing year, organization are
becoming much more agile, and there is ongoing demand for business analysts. They merely
work on the agile project, which is expected to increase. Complete adaptation of agile practices
like changing facilities, clear communication, and engagement becomes much more important
