INTRODUCTION
Business can be defined as the organisation or enterprise that is in commercial, industrial
and activities at professional level. Businesses can be for profit or non-profit organisations
entities. Businesses are important because they help the society through distribution of goods and
services which are essential for the purpose of survival(Elia and et.al., 2019). The report
basically consist of business functions and also about the role of different departments within the
organisation. The report also consist of the importance of all the functions who working together
into appropriate form.
MAIN BODY
Significance of dissimilar business functions and the function of dissimilar business departments
Within the enterprises or at the organisational level, there are different kinds of
departments like finance, marketing, operations, human resources and production. Every
department has their own significance and also have role in order to fulfil requirements of
business.
Role of different departments:
 Marketing- It is very significant for enterprises because this creates an awareness among
customers about services, products, supports and engages them in making the buying
decision.
 Finance: This parameter is important because it contribute in terms of planing,
managing, raising and controlling all the money which has been used in any context with
the business.
 Operations: It basically act as the organisation centre that takes care of all the roles of
enterprises which act as control mechanism (Macchi and et.al., 2020). It makes a
connection of the business facets from project management to HR and facilities to supply
chain management and finance.
 Human resources: It is important because it is mainly responsible for screening,
finding, training and recruitment of job applicants.
Describe the importance of all the functions working together
There are different functions of a business such as marketing, finance, human resource,
production and operations which needs to be worked into together form.

It is very important that all the functions work together so that overall objectives and
goals can be achieved of an organisation within the shorter period of time(Painter and et.al.,
2019). If there is coordination in every function of an organisation then it is easier to increase the
productivity and efficiency level into result oriented form. When all the functions work together
then there is proper coordination in every department due to which they can earn profits on a
larger scale. That's why it is very important that all the functions of business work into together
form.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that enterprises are very important into
context of increasing the level of economy into positive terms. It has been observed that there are
different functions of the business which needs to be worked into together form. Every function
of a business has their own significance level so its very important that they work together so
that efficiency and productivity level can be increased into positive terms. So its very important
for business to understand every function into appropriate terms.
