INTRODUCTION
Business Future refers to the different types of approaches which are undertaken by a
particular organisation in order to ensure that the future of the business can be managed in the
right manner effectively and efficiently in the right manner (Beamish and Lupton, 2016). For this
purpose, there is a requirement for the organisations to make sure that the right decisions are
taken for the short-term, medium-term and long-term in the future. The global pandemic of
COVID-19 has forced the different types of organisations to think about their future in a detailed
way which will help them a lot to be able to deal with this situation of uncertainity in the right
way. For this report, Tesco has been chosen. It is a British Company which deals in groceries and
other related products and services. In this assignment, detailed focus will be made on
demonstration of understanding of specialist areas, critical reflection on different types of
concepts, critical examination of evolving and complex relationship. Additionally, specific
analysis on acquiring of advanced knowledge and understanding of key techniques will be made
as a part of this particular project.

There are different types of approaches of leadership which are required to be considered
to be used by the managers in order to raise the overall level of efficiency and effectiveness
within the organisation (Blay and et.al., 2018). Therefore, the following approaches of leadership
will be considered by Tesco for this particular purpose by the leaders and managers-
 Innovative leadership- In this type of leadership, the different types of leaders use their
innovative skills and techniques in order to grasp the situation and take the desired action
properly (Buckley, Doh and Benischke, 2017). In Tesco, this type of leadership has to be
displayed by the leaders so that they are able to sustain in the global uncertainity caused
due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
 Authoritative leadership- In this type of leadership, the leaders of the organisations
make sure that they are making the use of their authority in the right manner to take
appropriate decisions effectively and efficiently (Dentchev and et.al., 2018). Therefore,
In Tesco this can be helpful in ensuring that the proper policies are framed so that the
situation of the COVID-19 pandemic can be dealt with in a right way.

pace in the organisations for the purpose of taking the desired actions in the right way.

 Servant leadership- In this type of leadership, the focus is put by the leaders on ensuring

In Third-Sector Institutions it is crucial that the concept of Organizational Responsibility
is followed (Saura, Palos-Sanchez and Correia, 2019). The reason for this is that these
institutions provide voluntary services to the people and do not aim for earning of profits.
Therefore it becomes quite important that these institutions are able to ensure that they can
contribute towards the well-being of the people which will become possible only when the
