INTRODUCTION
Business information system provides a data that can be used by organizations in order to
manage themselves efficiently and effectively. This is all about use of computer systems and
technology that helps in smooth functioning of a business so that business aim can be attained.
The study is based upon a case study of CureGP which is a fictitious GP practice that have been
operating about 20 years. Currently the company faces issue with regard to efficiency and
accountability for delivering a primary care services. For that, the report will conduct a survey in
which 200 respondents are selected to determine the issues and propose solutions as well. The
study will analyze the data from the survey which help to examine the solution so that company
improve its performance. Moreover, it also specifies the technology requirement along with any
staff training so that company’s brand image affected positively.
MAIN BODY
Data and information sources CureGP could use
CureGP can use internal information by asking feedback from the patient to whom they
treat. This in turn assist to determine their own strength and weakness so that effective results
can be taken. Also, to examine the external information, CureGP can use different sources like
PubMed and market need to solve improve the weak areas. This in turn help to identify the ways
through which weak areas can be solved. In addition to this, it has been also reflected that they
cannot use data effectively and that is why, there is a need to use data savvy Dey and Tamane,
2018). Currently, as per the scenario it has been realized that they do not have any expertise in-
house to determine how to implement the strategy and that is why, Information management
consultant is used. Apart from this, to collect the relevant information, there is a need to go
through secondary sources that assists to generate the better outcomes and also determine the
trend that needs to be considered in a market.

are satisfied with the booking of CureGP because out of 99 participants, 18 are very satisfied,
while 24 are satisfied. Also, 14 of them are not stated anything and 25 of them are unsatisfied
while 18 are very unsatisfied. On the other side, selected participants from Sunderland stated that
out of 101 people, 15 are very satisfied, 18 are satisfied and 26 did not share their views. Further,
18 of them are unsatisfied and 24 of them are unsatisfied. Overall, this in turn reflected that
participants of Newcastle are satisfied with appropriate booking whereas Sunderland are very
unsatisfied.
That is why, it to be recommended to CureGP to use effective ways for booking such that
can tie up with third party agencies through online mode where customer get enough information
and the issues can be resolved. Also, company uses own website where it provides online
booking facilities to their users especially to Sunderland so that they can choose their slots
accordingly. This in turn assists to solve the challenge and also become more data savvy as per

the need of market. Offering online services to their customer assist them to generate an effective
result so that the performance cannot be affected in adverse manner.

stated no whereas 23 of them stated yes. While another ethnic group i.e. Black British where
majority of the people stated yes such that out of 38, 23 of them says yes, we consume alcohol
and only 15 of them stated no. However, on the other hand, out of 38 Mixed or Multiple Ethnic
Group people, 23 stated yes and 15 respondents are not consumed the same. Further, out of 36
White people, 22 of them do not use alcohol and 14 of them stated that yes, they do. However,
other ethnic group people are agreed that 26 of them are stated yes and 15 do not consume
alcohol. Overall, it has been reflected that majority of the people are consume alcohol.
In order to improve the situation, it is to be recommended to provide effective counseling
sessions to the people and for that effective training sessions needs to be provided by the
company. This in turn assist the firm to let people know about the negative impact over their
health if the continuously consuming alcohol Wang, Ng and Brook 2020). As majority of the
people are agree that they consume alcohol and that is why, there is a need to implement strategy
to improve the situation.

Interpretation: As per the above table, it has been identified that some ethnic group people
actually inhale smoking whereas some of them do not. This in turn reflected that out of 47 Asian
or Asian British, 27 participants are stated yes, they inhale smoking, whereas 20 of them stated
no. On the other side, 20 Black African people stated that they inhale smoking whereas 18 of
them stated no. While, 20 White people and others also stated that they usually smoke and 15, 21
respectively do not. This in turn reflected that majority of the people are inhale smoking which
create a bad impact over their health and that is why, there is a need to solve the issue otherwise
affected entire mental and physical health.
Thus, there is a need to recommend some solution in order to change the perception of
people towards inhaling smoking. Thus, employees need to provide effective training session
regarding positive and negative impact of using smoking. So that the employees create
awareness among people in order to let them understand about the same. This session needs to
provide among Asian group people because majority of them are inhaling smoke. This in turn
create positive impact over their physical and mental health as well.

aware about their health and that is why, they keep attending the fitness class. However, females
are not easily attend the same and this in turn affected their lives in negative manner.
Through the above analysis, it has identified that there is a need to focus upon the fitness
classes and aware people regarding the same. In order to improve the same, it is to be suggested
that CureGP might provide free session to the employees where females are attracted because
majority of them are not attending the classes Pham and Stack, 2018). Thus, to attracted the
people especially to female, it is also suggested to use social marketing tools in which females
are targeted so that they can attend the session and realize the importance of attending fitness
class.

Outline of technology requirement and staff training
In this modern era, most of the organization re completely relied upon advance
technology and that is why, it helps to create a better outcome in term of customer satisfaction
and performance. However, CureGP have been advised to improve the way it operates and that is
why, focusing upon advance technology is considered as a best solution to minimize the
challenge. Thus, to focus upon technology requirement, there is a need to use data analytics. In
this, Predictive analytics must be used which is considered as a prime tool that helps to avoid risk
in decision making. Also, it is relied upon hardware and software solution that can be utilized for
discovery, evaluation as well as deployment of predictive scenarios by processing the big data.
By using this type of solution, CureGP can easily solve problems by analyzing as well as
understanding them. Apart from this, it can be analyzed that stream Analytics is also used by
CureGP where information can be stores on different platforms in various formats (Ferraris and
et.al., 2019). Thus, it allows connection to external data sources and their integration into an
application flow. This in turn causes positive impact over the results and generate better outcome
by using technologies.
In term of providing staff training, CureGP may also use online training platforms that
helps to let them be aware about the training material so that they can use the same into their
professional life. Also, most of the employee might do not have time to attend the training and to
meet the same, there is a need to provide online training which can be used by anywhere and
anytime. Moreover, with the help of staff training, CureGP can provide better health to their
patients and that is why, it assists to generate a better outcome. Apart from this, there is a need to
recruit effective employees who may also provide their views to solve the challenges. It assists to
derive better result and CureGP can also operate in different location as well. Thus, focusing or
relying only on business information management might provide positive results but it does
might affect the cost of the company adversely.
Moreover, it can be stated through overall technology requirement that advance
technology helps them to improve the business operations but completely relied upon data savvy
does not help to improve the challenge. Like providing online training to employees so that they
treat people and make them aware of not consuming things that affect their lives (Wang, Kung
and Byrd, 2018). Also, it has been analyzed that majority of selected respondents are not use

booking in appropriate manner. That is why, it is recommended to use effective technology that
helps them to aware about the offerings so that effective results can be generated. This in turn
reflected that there is a need to improve the overall performance because the perspective of
people varies from each other.
CONCLUSION
By summing up above report it has been concluded from the survey that there is a need to
focus upon the training session of employees so that they can easily make aware to employees so
that effective results can be generated. Also, it can be summarized that there is a need to majority
of the people attend the fitness classes and this in turn shows that they are focusing upon their
health. Moreover, there is a need to use technology requirement that helps to improve the
operations and attract the customers towards the offered services. Such that by using Predictive
analytics, that provide both hardware and software solutions, CureGP can easily meet the
customer needs. That is why, by complying with such technologies assists to improve the brand
image and let people know about the offerings.
