1BIM-ENABLED PROJECTSAbstractBusiness Information modeling or BIM has a wide range of tasks from the designing, execution, andmaintenance to taking of raw data and making that actionable and valuable information. Thefollowing report is prepared to understand the clash detection of the federated model and thequantity takes off for the model. The problems of BIM are also solved by the safety measures andthe scheduling plan for the model. The report has indicated that by using the BIM tools an earlyunderstanding of the site, scale and the building conditions could be analyzed along with the budgetestimation. The report has also identified that the technologies supporting the various uses wouldhelp to inform the streamline processes and the project team. For the BIM project, the site analysistools could be used to make sense of the multiple sites. This also helps to communicate with thedrawbacks and the advantages. During the project, as the model changes, the BIM could be used asthe tool for coordinating the cost and take-off. Lastly, the report has recommended the using of CICBIM protocol, clash rendition, usage of Common Data Environment and through the Data ExchangeSpecification.

3BIM-ENABLED PROJECTSIntroduction:The Business Information modeling or BIM has altering the approach in which the buildingsand the broader infrastructure are developed and planned. It has been extending from the designing, execution and maintenance to taking of raw data and making that actionable and valuableinformation (Lu et al. 2015). The report includes the clash detection of the federated model and the quantity takes off forthe model. It has also analyzed the safety measures and the scheduling plan for the model. 1. Clash detection report of the federated model:As per as the clashes are concerned, two components are considered occupying the samespace. They are the “hard clash”. For example, this includes the column that has been runningthrough the pipe-work via the steel beam. They are time-consuming and expensive to keep proper asdiscovered onsite. The soft clashes take place as the element is not provided with the geometric or the spatialtolerances (Won and Lee 2016). For instance, the air conditioning unit might need particularpermission regarding maintenance, safety and access steeling the beam must negotiate. Provided theenough object data, the software has been utilized for checking the adherence to the relevantstandards and regulations. The other type of clashes has been including the scheduling of the contractors, delivery ofmaterials and equipment and the common conflicts in the timeline. They are generally denoted as the4D clashes or the workflow.
