INTRODUCTION
 Business information system are those that help different
sector organisations to generate and disseminate desired
information.
 These systems includes the use of IT infrastructure for
creating sets of interrelated procedures.

Issue Faced By An Organisation
The major issue faced by the restaurant is related to low decision
making ability regarding non routine activities. Due to
excessive care over the management of internal and routine
activities, management does not have the time to analyse
external environment and identify other non routine actions
which have negative impact over their operations.

Justification Regarding Strategic,
Business And Operational Value
Strategic plan:
Mission: To perform the non-routine activities of business in proper
way.
Vision: To be the leading restaurant by attaining cost minimization and
differentiation in services.

Application Of Balance Scorecard
Measurement Too
The tool which is used for the purpose of measuring the performance of
DSS against to the defined values is Balance scorecard. This is one of
the effective tool that provides an opportunity to determine the extent
to which performance is not met the set standards. This tool has four
different perspectives i.e. finance, customer, internal business process
and learning & growth.

Justification For The Proposed Business
Information Solution
The model applied for the purpose of identifying most appropriate
solution to resolve the issue related to low decision making ability of
non routine activities is Porter five forces. The reason behind the
application of this particular model is that results ascertained majorly
depicts the information regarding non routing activities that have
impact over business activities of different nature organisations.

Conclusion
It has been concluded from the above report that role of business
information system is optimum in providence of solutions against to
the issues faced by an organisation. The issue faced by restaurant is
related to building decisions for non routine activities. The
application of DSS is effective in nature to come out from this
situation as this will help to take decisions after ascertainment of
both internal and external aspects.
