Importance of Information and the Information Technology in business:
According to the studies it has been noticed that in the businesses like United Milk
Commodities (UMC) information are very important as these types of businesses are running
followed by the aspects of customer satisfaction. Considering the above aspect it has been
identified that for the betterment of the business services information are very useful as these
information helps the organization to take effective decisions (Argyris 2017).
Considering the fact that information plays an important role in a business service
provides like United Milk Commodities (UMC), incorporation information technology also
holds significant responsibility towards the betterment of the business services which has
direct impact on the customer satisfaction. Followed by this aspect there is a significant
impact of Information Technology to attract the customers in order to advertise their services
which may invoke the business profit (Tseitlin 2013). Considering the above statement the
utilization of the Information Technology in order to attract the customers are listed below:
 Utilization of the Information Technology in the business services, IT system offers to
effectively gather the customer’s information by conducting surveys as well as y
recording the previous data of the customer’s.
 Followed by the collection of the data it analyses those data which provides effective
decision making approach to offer more customize data to the customers.
 Along with that it offers effective database management process which offers the
feature to effectively process, manage as well as modify the information for effective

operation by sending the emails as social media advertisement which holds a
significant impact towards attracting the customers.
 Since, it offers effective decision making approach it helps the organization to take
effective decision for the betterment of the organizational marketing to attract

 Followed by this it also offers effective communication process which also holds
significant impact towards attracting the customer attention.
However, considering the current technological aspect the above mentioned impacts are
very out dated as in this generation computing has one of the most impactful technology such
as the cloud computing. Since, the United Milk Commodities consist several branches across
the country it will be very helpful if it incorporate the Cloud services into the organization
filed as it will offers a versatile storage as well as the cloud storage is not restricted to a place
thus the database can be accessed from any-where (Rice, A.L., 2013). Followed by this
objective incorporation of cloud services also reduces the database cost of the organization as
this is on demand service. Thus, after analysing these aspects it is recommended to the
targeted organization to adopt cloud computing into their business structure as holds the
responsibility to effectively collaborate several branches of the organization for more
